Big Brother 15, Episode #12 – How Assumptions Become Truth in the BB House!

Hiya, Readers!

This episode of BB 15 was an interesting one!  Suspicions are whispered behind closed doors, alliances begin to crumble, new ones are created, and out of all of this, the stage is set for this week’s Eviction.  America even assisted in making the events of this episode fall as they did with the decisions it made for the final nominee for Eviction.  Who did America choose?  How does it play into how the House flipped on its head?  Continue reading and find out!

At the Nomination Ceremony at the end of Episode #10, Judd made a comment about Aayrn which Aaryn felt made her shady.  No, Aaryn, you have done this all on your own!  Don’t fault Judd for your smart actions in the House!  Aaryn went to speak to Judd about what he said about her and about being put up on te block.  Judd calmed er down, saying he was planning to back-door someone else, and that she wasn’t his target.  Judd confessed he was saying anything to shut Aaryn up and make her happy.

Kaitlin and Amanda were also talking about the nominations.  Kaitlin was worried about Aaryn winning the PoV and taking herself of the block, leaving Kaitlin stuck there and possibly leaving this week.  She also asked Amanda if she was the target.  Amanda told her it wasn’t her.  Aaaryn then enters the room, still whining about possibly leaving this week.  Amanda tell them she’s on a mission to get Howard back-doored this week.

Elissa started tripping (not falling, but going batty) around the House because she would have heard by now  whether she was chosen as the MVP by now.  Her attitude and paranoia was rubbing the other House Guests the wrong way.  Elissa was worried that since she hadn’t heard anything yet, this must then mean another member of the House was chosen, and she could  find herself as the third nominee on the block.

In the BB Backyard, Howard and Spencer were cooking up a coup d’etat while playing pool.  They knew that Elissa and Amanda were running the show around the House.  They figured that if they got the Floaters together, along with GinaMarie, that they could take control of the House away from the ladies.  In the HoH Room, their plan seemed to magically fall into place, when all the people they wanted to talk to about this new alliance came into the room (GinaMarie, Andy, Judd, Kaitlin).  After feeding these people lines about rising up against the oppression Elissa and Amanda were imposing upon them, they all agreed to  get rid of them together.

At the Veto Players Selection Meeting, Elissa’s worst fears came to fruition: she was not selected as this week’s MVP, and she was put up on the block!   Yes, America voted for Elissa to sit next to Aaryn and Kaitlin!  Maybe it was because they knew she probably had the best chance at beating Kaitlin and Aaryn for the PoV.  The other two players chosen for the Veto Competition were Helen and McCrae.  Even thoug Elissa is on the block, the players for the Veto could really work in Elissa’s favour.  The only two players that really don’t want Elissa off the block are Aaryn and Kaitlin.  McCrae would be the wild card, as Amanda is a bit annoyed with Elissa’s behaviour up until now.  If Elissa really pushed Judd, he probably would Veto the MVP’s nominee and take Elissa down.  Helen would fight tooth and nail to get her fellow Mom Squad member off the block.  Oh, I can’t forget to say that Elissa isn’t too bad at competitions, either.  Don’t sweat it, Elissa, you have more than a fighting chance at getting off the block!  Tis week’s host, chosen by Judd, was Andy.

After the meeting, Elissa confessed she felt betrayed by whoever the MVP was.  She thought she was nice to everyone in the House, and she didn’t understand why America didn’t choose her this week.  She was also didn’t know why she was picked to be on the block.  She was beginning to think the MVP was someone of Team Aaryn. Elissa even asked them if one of them was the MVP, and they honestly said no, they were not the MVP.  Their response didn’t satisfy Elissa’s suspicions of Team Aaryn, further fueling her anger toward Aaryn.

Team Aaryn were thinking in the total opposite direction.  They all thought Elissa was the MVP, and nominated herself in order to make the target on her back smaller.  It’s not a bad idea, but Elissa being such a big target in this House, as well as being on the block before wouldn’t make Elissa want to put herself in this position voluntarily.  There is too much of a risk of not winning the Veto and being sent home at this point in the game for Elissa to do this, but this is Team Aaryn we’re talking about, Readers!  In my opinion, they’re not really seeing the full picture where the game is concerned.  They only rely on Aaryn’s point of view, and what they hear second-hand.  It’s a wonder they’re still shocked tow of the three of them are on the block right now.

At the Veto Competition called Veto Election, the players were asked to dress to impress.  As they walked ou to the BB Backyard, they saw why they were all so snazzy.  For this Competition, they had to crawl under benches through a huge pile of mud to collect envelopes that held ballots with various numbers of votes.  Some of these votes also had punishments on them.  The players could only have four ballots to accumulate as votes as possible to win the PoV.  The votes with punishments, if the players chose to use the votes with punishments on them had to do them, regardless of whether or not they win the PoV.  After a lot mud slinging (I guess this little joke was not lost on the producers of BB 15), Elissa won the PoV.  Here are the punishments each player has to endure due to the points they chose to use:

Helen – 8 PM curfew two nights in a row

Judd – 24-hour solitary confinment

McCrae – $5000

Elissa – Can’t play in the next Veto Competition.

While Judd was having fun by himself in a room where he nothing but to eat but slop,  and an alarm clock that went off every nine minutes for 24 hours, the rest of the House decided to throw McCrae a 24th birthday party he wouldn’t forget.  Amanda made this party unforgettable by dressing up in a one-piece bathing suit and heels, and giving McCrae his birthday beats with a leather whip.  Now, unless the producers provided the whip for this impromptu  fiesta, who would bring a whip into the House as something they needed in their luggage?

Elissa, in some strange mood, decided to badger Amanda about her wardrobe choice, from when she put it on, until the party was over.  Why would you do that, Elissa?   What would possess you to share your feelings about Amanda’s choice of attire?  These thoughts should have been kept to yourself!  This could seriously come back to haunt you, Elissa!

At the Power of Veto Ceremony, Elissa took so much pleasure in taking herself off the block leaving Aaryn and Kaitlin on it.  The House Guests then found out who America secretly chose as their replacement nominee.  A smile broke out across my face when I saw GinaMarie’s picture pop up on the BB TV screen!  GinaMarie, along with the rest of the House, was in shock!  If Elissa was the MVP’s first pick, why would GinaMarie be their second one?  This further fueled the idea that Elissa was indeed the MVP, while Elissa was just as baffled as everyone else!

Oh, Readers, this was such a great ending to a BB 15 episode!  Everyone is still questioning who the MVP was and Team Aaryn are all on the block!  Having any one of them out of the House would make me happy, but the possibility of having Aaryn out of the game is so great!  No more sense of entitlement and no more sneaky, snide two-faced comments!  But I’m celebrating too early.  The votes haven’t been cast yet.  This vote should be a no-brainer, though.  Will my thoughts come to fruition and Aaryn actually does leave the House?  Who will become the next HoH and MVP?  Come on back to my blog and find out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #6 – Put Your Feelings Aside and Woman it Up!

Hey There, Readers!

As you can tell by this episode’s title, the women were finally beginning to pick up their game play in the BB House! This started during Episode #5 when Candice began piecing together the members of the Moving Company, and that they were gunning at getting rid of the women first.  Will the women in the House snap out of their cattiness and get their game faces on?  Read on and you’ll see!

After HoH Aaryn’s nominations of Elissa and Helen, Both women vowed not to campaign against each other, and to work together to change their fortunes in the House.  They planned to also target Aaryn should both of them remain in the House after the next Eviction.  Candice joined the ladies and figured out the all-guy alliance’s plan to control the House and get all the women evicted.  The three women were trying to come up with a way to put an end to their plan.

Meanwhile, in the Storage Room, members of the Moving Company were laughing and celebrating over their plan going over so well.  They thought that the women were too caught up in their egos that none of them realized they were being duped by the guys!  None of the guys realize that someone was on to them.

Helen wanted to continue this women’s movement by going to the HoH Room and trying to get Aaryn on her side.  She reminded Aaryn of the deal she made during the last episode where if Aaryn were to keep her from Eviction, then the two of them would secretly work together to take over the House. Aaryn remembered this talk, and said she’d keep it in mind.   Aaryn confessed that she liked the idea of having a secret alliance, but had to see where it fit into her strategy.

This week’s BB MVP was revealed! Guess who it was?  No surprise here, Readers, it was Elissa for the second week in a row! This week, I think, it was a mix of the Rachel fans and those who are anti-Aaryn fans who voted for her. Smartly, Elissa told Helen, and told her not to say anything to anyone about it. The ladies were then trying to figure out who to target. This choice was a no-brainer for Elissa: Jeremy.  She knew he was the one controlling Aaryn and her decisions, as well as being the House’s biggest physical threat, so he needed to leave before he could do more damage.

It was time to pick the players for the PoV Competition. The last nominee chosen by the MVP in secret was announced.  Jeremy was revved and ready, calling himself a manimal because he was so excited to compete.  This was making Elissa and Helen worry a bit because most people hate being on the block, and it didn’t even phase him. T hen Aaryn picked the last two names out of a box. Amanda and Nick were the last two players this week.  Amanda also wanted Jeremy out for what he did to the Have-Nots at the end of last week. Nick was happy to play because he could help get his fellow Moving Company member off member off the block.  Aaryn then GinaMarie as this week’s host of the Competition.

Elissa, trying to hedge her bets in winning the PoV, went to Nick to make a deal with him. If Nick threw the Competition, Elissa promised to give him a two-week free pass should she and Helen get HoH, or the MVP, whoever it was, would put Nick up as a replacement nominee if someone took themselves off the block.  Nick agreed to the deal, because he thought it was a win-win for him. He wanted to try and win the PoV for himself to save Jeremy, and if he didn’t win, he felt safe because the MVP wouldn’t touch him because of his deal with Elissa.

Britney from BB 12 and 14 visited the House via video with a special announcement: she was preggers! She said the PoV Competition would help finish together her nursery by putting together a super big mobile with stuffed animals. The first House Guest to have 10 stuffed animals balanced on the mobile and hit their nightlight would win the PoV.

It took the competitors a while to figure out how to get the animals to balance on the mobile, but Jeremy must have used us maninal powers to figure out the pattern in order to balance out the animals. He ran over to his nightlight, and won the PoV!

Howard was pleased that Jeremy won because it helps his game. He confessed that it would solidify his reason to have him eventually go because Jeremy’s successes also make him a bigger threat to win the game. He needs to go! Howard! I never saw this coming from you! I’m beginning to like you more and more!

In the HoH Room, Jeremy and Kaitlin were “celebrating” his victory by making out on the King-size bed. GROSS! Aaryn has to sleep on those sheets, and you’re doing who knows what on the sheets and not washing them afterwards. One word, Readers: Nasty! Kaitlin was telling Jeremy her fears of being put up as the replacement nominee and being blind-sided by him and the House. He said he would never do that, and he would tell her if she was going.  Really, Jeremy! Why not fight for her to stay in the House, not don’t just tell her she’s going.

Maybe he wanted to prove his loyalty to Kaitlin, or maybe he heard me screaming at he TV, but he went around the House, as if he was in a mission, “pulling rank” with the rest of the Moving Company and telling them that Kaitlin must not go up on the block. Here were their reactions:
Spencer – agreed with Jeremy because he didn’t really care unless it was someone from their alliance.
Nick – was on the fence because he.knew if Kaitlin didn’t go up, it would be him.
McCrae – didn’t like Jeremy and his demands. He felt.these decisions should be done by the group, not by any one individual.
Howard – didn’t tell Jeremy his true feelings, but he was so not on board. He said the only person he listens to is God.

Elissa and Candice were talking about the reason why so many men have won Big Brother. They felt it was because not many of the women in the game make big moves. Candice wanted to suggest to Aaryn that they should try to separate Nick and Jeremy because the ladies knew that these two guys were part of some kind of alliance. Since they couldn’t go after Jeremy, they should then go after Nick. Candice was unaware of the deal Elissa made with Nick. Elissa didn’t want to go against the deal she had with Nick, but she also didn’t want to leave the House, either. What she didn’t know was that Nick trying to win the Veto, so their deal was null and void.

Elissa was going to make her decision based off of her conversation with Nick. She asked him if he was going to vote for her for Eviction. He didn’t give her a definitive answer, and couldn’t look her in the eye. You all know what that means! Elissa understood what that meant, and went to Helen to to tell her what happened. Nick could no longer be trusted.

At the PoV Ceremony, as expected, Jeremy used the PoV on himself, and the House awaited the replacement nominee the MVP chose Nick’s pic5ture appeared in the TV screen, and Nick took his place beside Helen and Elissa on the block.

Helen said that her alliance with Elissa they’ve named the Mom Squad were coming after Nick and the rest of the guy alliance. Nick said that Elissa was.going to be the one to be packing her bags this week, not him. Elissa said she was going to convince the House that Nick was a threat, and he needed to go!

This was such a good episode! So proud of some of the women in the House for seeing through the smokescreen the Moving Company put ip in Week 1, and are fighting against it. It’s too bad the rest of the women are so clouded by their pettiness and their narcissism, that they can’t see what’s going on.  It just sucks that Elissa’s camp doesn’t hold too much power in the House. Sure, anything can happen on Eviction Night, but it will be an uphill battle. Yes, I’m beginning to warm up to Elissa. So far, she is the toned-down version of Rachel. Elissa has to get kick that Reilly spirit into gear to win another competition, that is if she’s not voted out. Will the Mom Squad get their wish and have my Number 1 pick, Nick, be voted out of the game? Is the cookie beginning to crumble for the Moving Company? Who will the next HoH in the House? You’ll only.find out by checking back into my blog!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 14, Episode # 12 – Danielle: Loosing Grip on Power?

Hey There Readers!

I was kind of happy at first about Danielle winning HoH, but after this episode, I’m not so sure I am anymore. I mean, sure, nominating Wil and Frank, two players that are threats in this game in their own ways, but there are also bigger fish to fry around the House. She is taking advice Dan who has his own end-game, and may not be looking out for her best interests. Let’s see how Danielle handles her power on the House.

After the Nominarion Ceremony, Danielle and Wil go up to her HoH Room. Danielle was crying, sad about putting Wil up as a pwan. Wil doesn’t believe her, but he tells her that things are cool between them, just in case she decides to take him off the block.

Janelle and Dan were talking in the HoH Room about how Boogie and Frank were complaining about the nominations, as well as how they were talking strategy so blatantly in public. They were worried that the Coaches deal was going to fall through because of Frank’s continual presence in the House. They decided to try and work on Boogie to see if he would be able to get rid of Frank.

Dan took Boogie into the Storage Room to talk strategy. Boogie was upset over the fact that he looked like an idiot, may be backdoored due to how the nominations went, and how he thought Danielle felt about him. This is what really bothers me about players like Boogie in this game. They like to dish out all of the punishments in the House, but they think it’s unfair to receive any of it. It’s a game, Boogie! You can tell he was just one of those kids who didn’t play well in the sandbox. Dan tried to smooth things over by agreeing with whatever Boogie said, but also slid in the possibility of Frank leaving the House this week. Boogie was against this idea, and said that if he got the chance to win the Veto Competition, he would save Frank from eviction. Red flag waving, anyone?

Since Frank was nominated, again, and saw how guarded Boogie is of him, Ian did the first smart thing in this game. He went to Britany and Dan to see if he could work with them to save his butt. I’m not sure if you remember me writing about this in my first BB post, but this is the strategy he wanted to use before he entered the game. Britany told Ian he had to be loyal to their alliance. Ian wanted to have Frank’s safety, but the reaction he received to this idea, he then began to think that he would be safer in the House if Frank was gone.

Frank decided to talk to Janelle in the bathroom. Janelle was trying to clear some of the bad blood that was spilt between them, but in no way was she trying to be on good terms with him. Britany witnessed their exchange, and misinterpreted the situation. She thought Janelle was going against their alliance and getting buddy-buddy with Frank.

Letting her cattiness get the best of her, she ran off to complain to Danielle about what she saw instead of asking Janelle about what happened. Oh, Ladies of BB14! In order to be successful at this game, you have to play less catty and more stratigically. This fueled the suspicious feelings Danielle had towards Janelle. Dan saw this and was beginning to think that he may not be able to get rid of Frank and keep all of the Coaches together like he hoped.

At the Veto Competition, Field of Veto, the HoH the nominees, along with Wil, Shane and Jenn, had to roll a baseball on a ramp and try to score as many points as possible during each round. The person with the lowest score after each round was eliminated, and has to pick a prize or punishment. They are able to trade with another player for their prize. The winner is the person who ended up with the PoV at the end of the Competition. After many rolls and swaps, here is how the game concluded:
Frank – had to wear a “Spiritard” for a week
Jenn – won a trip to Maui
Ian – had to live a dog’s life for a day
Wil – won $5000
Shane – got a ticket to compete in the next PoV competiton; and
Danielle – won the PoV.

Boogie doesn’t like Danielle having all of the power in the House, so he decided he and Frank had to figure out how to get an “in” with Danielle in order to get Frank off the block. When he spoke to Danielle, he used the only card he knew would get her to reconsider changing her mind about Frank: the “I-Hate-Janelle” card. That sparked a charge in Danielle. Oh, Danielle, here we go again with the playing with your emotions instead of with your head strategy. Boogie then planted this seed with Dan to have it solidified in Danielle’s mind.
The Coaches then got together to talk strategy. Boogie took this opportunity to make Dan and Britany believe that Janelle couldn’t be trusted. Since Boogie was not willing to let Frank go on the block, Boogie suggested that Ashley should take Frank’s place. Janelle didn’t want more of her former players leaving the House, so after a slight pause, she said not this week. This, for some reason, put doubt in Dan’s mind about Janelle’s motives. What bothers me about Dan’s thoughts is that he is suspicious of Janelle’s motives, but he is not suspicious of why Boogie is so set against not letting Frank go to show good faith to the other Coaches.

Britany and Dan told Danielle about the meeting, trusting Boogie, how Janelle could no longer be trusted, and having Janelle backdoored. Ian, who was also present at this meeting was backing having Frank stay in the House. Even though it went against her better judgement, Britany went along with the majority on this new plan. Britany and Dan then went to Boogie to solidify the plan and to set conditions on their new alliance – The Slient Six.

At the Veto Meeting, Danielle used the Veto to remove Wil from the block, and surprised Janelle by using her as Wil’s replacement. This change in nominations also had some mixed reactions to the rest of the houseguests.

Come on, Houseguests! Boogie should not have gotten away with this plan. He has hijacked Danielle’s HoH week, and she doesn’t even realize it. Way to control the House, Danielle. Readers, they all have watched Boogie at work, yet they think they can still trust him? Un.be.leav.able. And poor Janelle! A possible backdooring. If Boogie pulls this one off, this is showing how desparate he is to get Janelle out. He’s afraid of her in this game, so he has to resort to backdooring. Really, it’s a few steps down for him. Well, Readers, come back for my next BB Post find out if Boogie’s able to pull off this scheme against Janelle.

Until my next post, Readers!
