Big Brother 15, Episode #36: The Winner of Big Brother 15 Is…

Hello, Readers!

I decided to be a bit more formal with you because of this episode’s occasion: it’s Finale Night!  Yes, I’m so excited about tonight because one of my picks to win BB 15 had made it to the Final Three!  Yes, sneaky, yet calculating good guy, Andy has wormed his way to this position in the game along with GinaMarie and Spencer.  Which one of these three will win the pivotal HoH, then get the Jury to vote for them to win $500 000?  Read on and you’ll see!

When we left these three in my last post, the Final Three were competing in Part 1 of a three-part HoH Competition called The Greatest Skate.  House Guests  were being swung around the BB roller rink trying to avoid obstacles on the ground to trip them up.  Spencer was finding it hard to hold to his bar as the producers decided to speed up the cords the bars were attached to.  Spencer just couldn’t hang on any longer, and fell.

Andy and GinaMarie were still hanging tough in the game until they were being sprayed with jets of fog, water and foam.  This made Andy and GinaMarie slip and slide all over the rink until Andy’s footing gave out on him, making him let go of his bar and fall.  GinaMarie won the first of three competitions for the HoH, and a by from competing in Part 2.  She was showered with a golden glitter which she ended up choking on in her excitement. Andy confessed he began to wonder whether his fall could have cost him the game.

Part 2 of the HoH Comp called Crab Grab had the fellas rigged up for some wall climbing as they had to find the faces of the House Guests that had been evicted on crab pieces, then climb up a wall ad put them in the correct order of when they left.  Andy and Spencer got to compete individually, and both had a hard time at this challenge.  In the end, good ol’ Andy won Part 2 of the Comp!  At this point, Spencer felt he had to get GinaMarie and Andy to realize just how easy it would be for them to win the game if they took him to the Final 2 with them in order to win $50 000 and at least second place.

GinaMarie and Andy had a private conversation about what they were going to do should either of them won this HoH.  Andy said he would take GinaMarie since Spencer would beat both of them due to the fact that he has less blood on his hands than the two of them.  GinaMarie confessed in the Diary Room that she would probably go with Andy as well.  She was worried about making this move because she felt she would lose to Andy because he was such a good kid, and he deserves to win the game.  Yet, at the same time, GinaMarie could screw him over because she needed the money as well…

Julie Chen then announced to the viewers that Dr. Will Kirby ( a BB icon) had visited the Jury House to speak to the Jurors about the Final Three, and to get them to think about who they were going to vote for to win the game.  He asked the Jury what made each person worthy of the grand prize.  This got Amanda practically yelling at most of the other Jury members, and even some questionable looks shot at McCrae for his opinions that didn’t agree with those she shared.

The show then went to the Final part of the HoH Competition.  For this final part of this HoH showdown, Julie Chen asked them to finish off a statement given by each of the Jury members.  Julie Chen gave them two possible options as to how each person had responded, and the players had to choose which statement was the correct one.  For every correct answer they gave, they got a point, and if one player had more points than the other, the scales they were put on would lower in their favour.  After answering 8 questions about their Jury members, Andy answered more statements correctly than GinaMarie, making him the last, and the most important HoH of the season.  Yay! My pick has made it into the Final 2!

The show then moved quickly to the last Live Vote and Eviction of the season.   Andy apologized to Spencer, telling him he knew he told him he would take him to the Final 2, but he made a promise to GinaMarie from Day 1 that he would take her to the end of the game.  Spencer was the  last evicted House Guest from the House this season, as well as the final member of the Jury deciding who would win the game.

When Julie Chen interviewed Spencer after his eviction, he told Julie he kind of saw his eviction coming, and he was proud of Andy for staying loyal to GinaMarie for all this time.  He was also proud of the fact that he broke the “Pawn Always Goes Home” curse that lingered around the BB game.

It was now time for the Jury to interrogate the Final 2 to decide which of them would win BB 15.  First, Julie Chen introduced Spencer to the Jury as its last member, and got them up t speed as to what happened in the House.  The Julie Chen let the Jury lose on Andy and GinaMarie.  As usual, the questions, ” What was your biggest move in the game,” “What was your biggest obstacle to overcome,” and “Why should we give you the money” were asked, as well as “Why should we give you our vote when you had offended us and called us cockroaches?” by Candice of GinaMarie.  GinaMarie answered that she was upset by Nick’s leaving, that it was not an personal attack against anyone, and that she loved everyone in the House.  Wow, after cussing Candice and supporting her Eviction, GinaMarie sure does know how to do a 180º turn when $500 000 is on the line!

Then Julie Chen gave the Final 2 their last chance to sway the Jury to choose them to win the season.  GinaMarie continued her love fest, flattering the Jury, telling them how great of an opportunity this prize would be for her, and that she was sorry for offending anyone.  Andy said he played the game with his heart, but that he played the game more with his head.  He went on to say that he played both sides of the House in order to get further in the game.  Then the Jurors each put their key in a box with the name of the House Guest they wanted to win BB 15.

To add more suspense to the evening, Julie Chen then brought out the first 5 evicted House Guests so the Jury and the Final 2 could get a better perspective of what they were able to watch from home.  They spoke about all of the controversial events that happened, and how they were affected both inside and outside the House.

Finally, the moment many of you have been waiting for: the winner of BB 15!  The winner had to have at least 5 votes to win.  This was who the Jurors voted for:

Spencer – Andy; McCrae – Andy; Judd – GinaMarie; Elissa – Andy; Amanda – Andy, Aaryn – GinaMarie; Helen – Andy; Candice – Andy; and Jessie – Andy.

If you add it all up, it was a 7-2 vote for my pick ANDY!!!! YES! My pick finally won a season of a show!  My bad luck curse has finally broken!  I don’t think GinaMarie minded too much, just winning $50 000 for second place, and running straight to a somewhat weary, yet nice Nick.  She didn’t let go of him for the rest of the broadcast!  Nick took it all in stride.

Lastly, Readers, Julie Chen announced the winner of the $25 000 America’s Choice prize.  American viewers were asked to vote on who they thought played the game the best, and they would be awarded this prize.  The top 3 vote-getters were Judd, Elissa ad Howard.  Readers, it was no surprise who won…it was Elissa!  If she was chosen by America to be the MVP 3 weeks in a row, of course they were going to choose her to win this prize, too!

After all of this, Julie Chen thanked the viewers for watching this season, and the theme music closed out the show.  It was kind of sad.  I know they have the show on so often to make up for reruns during the summer, but this was my thing to watch!  Oh well, I have 2 seasons of Survivor to watch until next summer to fill this void!  Thanks, Readers, for popping in to catch up on what was happening in the BB 15 House this season.  I really appreciate your support.  If you didn’t know, I am also posting Survivor 27: Blood vs Water right now, so if you wanted to keep up with Survivor, come back to my blog and check out those posts until Big Brother 16 starts up next summer.

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #35: Reflections of This Season’s Past

Hey Readers!

This is the second to last episode of the season!  With McCrae gone, The Exterminators, well, most of them anyway, have accomplished what no other alliance this season: get everyone they wanted evicted out of the House while making it together to the end of the game.  Now that they have to turn in each other, it should be fun to see what happens.  Read on to see what happened between the Final Three in this episode!

Andy was getting worried about McCrae and most of the other Jury Members because of his methods of getting them evicted via a double-cross.  It may hurt his chances in winning the grand prize.

Spencer wasn’t worried about the Jury.  He was very confident, calling himself the “Grim Reaper of the Block” because he was on the block and had survived it 8 times, seeing those up against him get evicted.  Yeah, no one can fault him for this.  You can only really fault the HoH who put him on the block and those who didn’t vote for him to leave the House.  But is this enough fir him to win the game in the eyes of the Jury?

The Exterminators then went on to talk about why they decided to tell McCrae about their alliance. Andy said it was because out of all if the Jury Members (except for Judd), he was the most level headed, so he would understand and judge them on being part of an alliance getting him out of the House. Before leaving the House, McCrae confessed in the Diary Room that Andy told him that Andy would be a bitter Jury member if he had been stabbed in the back. Since McCrae had just been stabbed in the back by his former 3AM alliance member, Andy, McCrae said that Andy’s words may come back to haunt him if Andy made it to the Final Two.

The show then cut to the Final Three celebrating accomplishing their goal. The producers had set out a lush snacking feast, some champagne and some OJ. The Final Three then toasted to their success, and drank their drinks.

Andy, Spencer and GinaMarie then began to reminisce about all of their favourite, and not so favourite memories of this past season. Here were some of my favourites out of the ones they talked about about showed to the viewers:

  • The Forming of the Moving Company
  • Jeremy’s Macho Freak-Outs (ex – the wine incident)
  • BB 15’s Many Showmances
  • “Judd the Studd” (how he made out with both Jessie and Aaryn)
  • The GinaMarie-Amanda Verbal Cat Fight
  • Amanda and McCrae’s “Wedding.”

Once The Final Three finished their walk down Memory Lane, they put their hands together, cheered “The Exterminators,” then wished each other luck as they prepared for the final HoH Competition of the season.

As with every season, the final HoH Competition is played in 3 parts.  In Part #1 of the Competition, everyone gets to compete.  In The Greatest Skate, all three players had to hang on to a horizontal pole attached to a rope that was swinging the House Guests around an amazing roller rink while they were wearing roller skates!  The object of this comp: be the last player hanging onto their pole while getting bashed into the obstacles around the roller rink.  Gotta love the endurance challenges!  The show ended with the Final Three hanging on for dear life as they were being swung around the BB Backyard.

This was a fun episode to watch, Readers!  I was saying, “Oh, yeah, I remember that!” and “I really wish I had the live feed to have seen that!” for most of the show.  Who do you think will win BB 15?  My last pick, Andy is still going strong, but would GinaMarie or Spencer take him with them should the win the last HoH of the season?  What kind of things will the Jury say to the Final Two when it comes down to choosing the winner?  Who will America choose as their favourite player this season?  Come back to my blog to catch how this season will wrap up!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #34: Your Luck Has Finally Run Out

Hey Readers!

It’s yet another Eviction Night on this episode of BB 15!  I know, they’re just throwing the House Guests out at this point  in the season!  With Andy being the HoH this week, it’s be up to McCrae to take his butt out of the fire again if he wants to make it into the Final Three.  Will McCrae be saved by the PoV or some last minute deal?  Keep reading and you’ll see!

After Julie Chen got the viewers caught up on what was happening in the BB House, the show cut straight to Andy announcing his Eviction Nominees.  He put McCrae and Spencer up on the block.  McCrae confessed after the Nomination Ceremony that he had a good chance of going home this week if he didn’t win the Veto.

The Exterminators were in the HoH Room discussing the Veto Competition as well.  They agreed that McCrae can’t win the PoV again.  Andy was also thinking about what would happen if McCrae did win the Veto this week.  He confessed it didn’t matter whether Spencer or GinaMarie were on the block, so long as McCrae went home.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Andy’s decision was revealed.  e put McCrae and Spencer up for Eviction.  Andy said his decision was not personal, and that this week was all about winning the PoV.  McCrae was confused as to why Andy would put him up if they’re in an alliance together.  Spencer didn’t like how Andy put him up on the block instead of GinaMarie, and felt there was something fishy going on between the two of them.

The show then showed the viewers what was happening at the Jury House.  They showed Aaryn, Amanda and Elissa joining Candice, Jessie and Helen.  Yeah, Readers, a House and a Jury full of women could spell trouble for those remaining in the game.  There was some verbal cat fights between Amanda and Candice over who deserved to win the game.  Of course, Amanda was forcing her opinion down everyone else’s throat, preaching about how McCrae should win the game, while Candice thought GinaMaire should win.  No surprise why Amanda would have such strong feelings for McCrae to win, but it was interesting why Candice would want GinaMarie to win after everything that wet down between them.  Maybe it was a girl power feeling, or maybe it was because GinaMarie was the person she liked the most out of everyone else left in the game.  They each argued over how the other’s pick rode on someone else’s coat tails to get where they were.  When Judd joined the ladies, it was a hot/cold sort of reaction to his presence with them.  This was because he had sent some of them to the Jury, while some of them still adored his easy-going manner.

At the last Power of Veto Competition (I’m not sure if the producers gave this Comp a name), the players had to match up the correct House Guests to the clues provided on 14 spiders connected to a web on boards in the BB Backyard.  Some of the clues had more than one correct response, but there was a proper House Guest to make the web work.  The player to correctly figure out this puzzle ad hit their buzzer won not only the Veto, but also put themselves into the Final Three, and got the right to cast the sole Vote, deciding the last person to go on in the game, while sending the other person to the Jury House.  After a lot of pondering and switching around by the House Guests, HoH Andy won the Veto, along with the opportunity to decide who goes along with him to the Final Three.

After the Veto Competition, McCrae was crushed, potentially losing his last chance to stay alive in this game.  He said he was going to try to do anything he could to make Andy see that he should bring him along to the Final Three.  Andy and Spencer were in the HoH Room, trying ot figure out whether he should use the Veto or not.  Spencer confessed he would rather have McCrae go on with himself and Andy, leaving GinaMarie to join the Jury.  He felt threatened by GinaMaire because of all of the support she may have on the Jury, so getting her out would be better for his chances to win the game.

McCrae went to Spencer to make his pitch as to why he should go on in the game.  He let Spencer know about GinaMarie’s potential support on the Jury because she sis what so many others were afraid to do: get rid of Amanda.  I agree, this was a major move in the game, and if Spencer doesn’t take McCrae’s point to heart, he could be making a half a million dollar mistake!

McCrae the went on to make his pitch to stay with Andy.  He told Andy that GinaMarie and Spencer have not made that many enemies on the Jury since they haven’t had to get their hands as dirty as he and Andy have.  He also reminded Andy of how dangerous GinaMarie was in the game.  McCrae also told Andy that if it came down to it, he would take Andy with him to the Final Two because he knew he would lose to Andy, but would have a better chance at winning than against GinaMarie or Spencer.

At the Veto Ceremony, Andy chose not to use the PoV on any of the Nominees.    Right after Andy made his decision, the show moved right along to the last Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony of the season.  When given their chance to try and save themselves, McCrae thanked his family and supporters at home, and told GinaMarie not to worry about what was going to happen, as she was the only one allowed to vote.  Spencer told the House Guests to do whatever she wanted.  In the end, GinaMaire decided to stay true to the Exterminators, choosing to Evict McCrae.

As an extra tidbit, before the Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony, Julie Chen informed the viewers that The Exterminators had outed themselves to McCrae.  They replayed this footage for us viewers to see.  In McCrae’s exit interview, he told Julie Chen he wasn’t sure where his relationship with Amanda was going to go after the show ends because life outside of the House is much different than it is within it.

Well, Readers, McCrae will be missed by me.   He was a funny little character.  The one thing I won’t miss is typing his name!  Now with him out of the way, the Final Three House Guests are Andy, GinaMarie and Spencer.  The next episode will show these three battling it out to become the final HoH of the season, guaranteeing their spot in the Final Two, and also getting to choose who they want to sit beside in front of the Jury on Finale Night for the $500 000 prize.  There are only two episodes left, Readers!  Who do you think will make it, and who will be the last member of the Jury?  Come back to my blog and see how it all plays out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15: Episode #33: Dodged Another Bullet

Hi There, Readers!

This episode was a special night, where a House Guest was going to leave the House a day early McCrae is in a bit of a sticky wicket as he is up on the block with GinaMarie, one of the members of The Exterminators.  He’s alone in the House with no real allies.  His only hope: winning the PoV to take himself off the block, giving him another shot to win the next HoH.  Does he have what it takes to get himself out of the hole he is in? Continue reading and you’ll find out!

While McCrae worried about his safety in the House, Spencer, GinaMarie and Judd were in the HoH Room talking about what would happen if McCrae did the unthinkable and win the PoV to save himself.  Judd asked Spencer who he would put up.  Without really skipping a beat, Spencer said it would be Judd.  Judd was taken aback for a moment, then tried to get Spencer to change his mind.  Judd later confessed he found it weird that Spencer would be shielding Andy at this point in the game instead of himself.

GinaMarie and McCrae were asked to go into the Diary Room.  They came back out, their friendship bracelet cut, letting everyone know their punishment was officially over.  Judd was released from his punishment after having to do 75 sit-ups in the BB Living Room.

Spencer and Andy were keeping up the ruse to get McCrae to let down his guard so he wouldn’t fight so hard for the Veto.  They were also making sure they were on McCrae’s good side should he win the Veto and then win the next HoH competition so they could then work with him and get further in the game.

This week’s Power of Veto Competition had a special guest host.  It was none other than last season’s winner, Ian!  In Super Veto, a of the House Guests and Ian were dressed in superhero tights and capes.  The players had to put together a puzzle.  The trouble was that they only had 20 seconds to keep the the board the pieces were stuck to magnetized.  They had to fly, with the help of wire harnesses, between their boards and a button that reset their time to 20 seconds.  If a player does not get back to their board within 20 seconds, all of their puzzle pieces would demagnetize, making all of their pieces fall off the board and having the player start from scratch.  If the player then didn’t get back to the buzzer to reset the timer within 10 seconds, then they would be eliminated from the game.  After many restarts, Judd dropped out of the game to help Andy, while McCrae used his pizza delivery boy powers to serve himself up a much needed win, dodging yet another bullet in the game.

After the Veto Competition, Spencer and GinaMarie were talking in the HoH Room about what was going to happen next.  Spencer said Judd was definitely going up on the block because of how he quit the Veto comp to help Andy and no other Exterminator, as well as for his suspicious nature.  The two of them.also swore to have each other’s back for the rest of the game.  Let’s see how long this pact lasts for!

Judd went to Spencer to talk about Spencer’s next move.  Judd felt that he would be the one to be leaving over GinaMarie.  Spencer tried to get him to cool down, telling him he was safe, but Judd didn’t believe Spencer.  Judd then became nervous, which then made Judd take a hissy-fit, cursing and tossing things all over the House.  Judd’s behaviour was not doing him any favours with the rest of the House Guests.

At the Veto Meeting, as expected, McCrae took himself off the block.  Spencer then replaced him with Judd.  This made Judd do one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen a player do in the BB House.  He decided to tell everyone that his one and only target was McCrae, and that he was coming after him.  I know, Readers, it seems kind of crazy for Judd to do this, but I get what he was trying to accomplish.  His rationale was this: if the House Guests thought Judd was going after Judd, they would vote GinaMarie out so they could still work together to get McCrae out.  Where Judd went wrong was how he went about it.  You don’t announce it to the House the way Judd did.  You go to each person and explain your plan to them, so you don’t lose a vote, like Judd did with McCrae.

At the special (and early) Live Vote and Eviction Meeting, Judd reiterated his intentions of solely going after McCrae, even they were allies at the beginning of the game.  Gina Marie reminded the guys that she was loyal, and always tried her best to compete in the game.  Once again, Readers, it was a pretty predictable Vote.  It was yet another unanimous 2-0 vote to evict Judd.  Oh,  Judd, it’s your second eviction!  At least he saw this one coming, unlike his first one.

During Judd’s exit interview, Julie Chen asked him about why he dissolved his alliance with Elissa, and whether or not it was a mistake.  He said he couldn’t take Elissa irrational and indecisive behaviour, so no, he didn’t make a mistake in cutting himself loose from her.

Before or After was the next HoH Competition.  Julie Chen gave the players, except for Spencer, a series of events, and they had to decide whether they took place before or after another series of events.  Each correct answer gave them a point.  The player with the most points after 7 rounds would become the HoH.  It was a close one, Readers, as it was a three-way tie between all of the players.  It came down to them being asked to figure out how many seconds it took for McCrae to win the PoV.  Andy was the closest to this number, making him the HoH!

Wow, Readers, it was a crazy shortened week in the BB House! McCrae saving himself, and then Judd having his huge freak-out and eviction! The next episode will also have an eviction, so we’ll be seeing yet another House Guest leave the House and join the Jury. Who will be the next HoH? Will McCrae dodge yet another bullet and make it into the Final Three? Who will be joining the Jury? Check back into my blog to find out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #32: Falling for Your Own Tricks

Hi Readers!

With Amanda and Elissa gone, the power in the House has shifted back to the men.  One of these men is now in danger of his game ending, as he is now on the outside looking in.  It’s pretty apparent who this lone soul is: McCrae.  Now he has to battle it out against the secret alliance, The Exterminators, to keep from being evicted.  Can McCrae overcome the odds and stick around longer?  Read on and find out!

The producers backtracked to the Double Eviction Night when McCrae and Elissa were talking to each other.  McCrae asked her if she voted Amanda out of the House.  Elissa told him that she didn’t, and that Andy was trying to frame her.  When Andy got a second alone with McCrae, he was begging McCrae not to put him up as an nominee, telling McCrae he was more trustworthy than Elissa because of their past history.

Spencer, working along with Andy, told McCrae to put GinaMarie and Elissa up because Amanda was out of the House.  Once away from McCrae, Spencer told GinaMarie that The Exterminators could control McCrae, so she didn’t have anything to worry about.

After The BB 500 Veto Competition, Elissa was becoming worried and upset because McCrae didn’t believe her, and that he was listening to everything Andy was saying when Andy was the treacherous one.

GinaMarie told Judd not to use the PoV on anyone to keep the nominations the same. Elissa was begging Judd to use the Veto on her while Andy was arguing to also keep the nominations the same. At the Veto Meeting, Judd did what The Exterminators wanted and didn’t use the Veto on anyone. Hey Judd! What happened to your alliance with Elissa? Well, this is Big Brother, so alliances can end as quickly as they are formed. The show then cut to Elissa being evicted from the BB game.

The Exterminators were secretly celebrating, jumping around and doing their Exterminator hand motion over getting rid of Amanda and Elissa in one night. McCrae then spoke with Spencer and Andy, forming an alliance he didn’t know was a false one, to stay safe in the game. Spencer and Andy were giving McCrae a sense of false security so he wouldn’t work so hard to win the HoH.  McCrae, you should know better than to fall for this at this point in the game.  Didn’t you and Amanda run this same scam on Helen a few weeks ago?  Hopefully, you’re not falling for your own trick, McCrae!

The show then went to the HoH Competition called Pixel This. In each round, an image would appear of a past competition on a screen in the BB Backyard. The players had to put together the picture of the House Guest that won that particular competition. They then had to hit a buzzer to say they were finished putting the face together. The slowest player was eliminated in each round. The last person standing would become the next HoH.  At the end of the competition, Spencer finally won his first HoH competition!  I guess it took being on the block 7 times to finally give him the luck he needed win an HoH comp!

Spencer was also given the task of giving the other House Guests “gifts.” Oh, Readers, in the game of Big Brother, a gift is not always a good thing. To GinaMarie and McCrae, he gave the Gift of Friendship. The two of them would have the pleasure of being tied to each other with a huge friendship bracelet for the next 24 hours. To Andy, Spencer gave him the Gift of Wealth. At some point, Andy would get a chance to win up to $5 000! For his buddy, Judd, Spencer gave him the Gift of Health. For the next 24 hours, Judd would have to do whatever exercise the BB Drill Sargent would tell him to to over the loud speaker. This “gift” was so bad, that when Spencer was reading his letter from his girlfriend when showing off her HoH Room, the BB Drill Sargent ruined the moment by telling Judd to do 15 jumping jacks right them and there. It also went off while everyone was sleeping, while he was eating, and even in the shower!

Andy got his chance to win up to $5 000 by smashing three decorated piggy banks of his choosing that held random dollar amounts. After choosing his three piggy banks, he smashed them, winning a grand total of $94.83! Andy was so thrilled! He confessed in the Diary Room that, after taxes, he would come away with about $6.00!

McCrae and Gina Marie wanted to speak to Spencer privately, but they had the problem of being connected to each other by their friendship bracelet. They figured out how to talk to Spencer separately, and McCrae went in first. Spencer continued to tell McCrae that he was safe to make him not work hard for the PoV. When GinaMarie went to speak to Spencer, he told her she was safe, and that he was leading McCrae in to make him feel safe.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Spencer chose GinaMarie and McCrae for Eviction. While Spencer was trying to explain why he chose these House Guests for Eviction, the BB Drill Sargent told Judd to complete another set of exercises. Can’t Spencer ever catch a break during his big moments as HoH?

Well, Readers, Spencer’s fortunes seem to be McCrae’s fortunes seem to be declining. If McCrae doesn’t take his butt out of the fire by winning the PoV, he will be joining his light of love, Amanda, sooner than he planned. Will McCrae win the PoV, placing an Exterminator on the block and exterminating one of their own? What other surprises are in store for the House Guests in the BB House as they near the end of the season and the $500 000 prize? Check back into my blog to find out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #31: Well, That Was Sort of Expected!

Hello Readers!

It the last Double Eviction Night of the season! Oh, Readers, these nights are always fun to watch because two people leave the House in one night, but you usually are able to find out who the second House Guest is that’s getting evicted because there isn’t much time for people to make deals.   Will Amanda be one of the House Guests evicted, or will Spencer’s luck run out?  Read on to find out!

Now that Amanda’s fate was all but sealed, she decided to go to Elissa to do the somewhat unthinkable: to ask Elissa for her vote to stay in the House.  Amanda told Elissa that if she stayed, there would be 3 people having her back (Amanda, McCrae and Andy), forming a Final Four deal.  She also reminded Elissa that if Amanda left, then Elissa would be following close behind her.  Elissa took Amanda’s words to heart, and decided to go along with this plan.  To seal the deal, Elissa gave Amanda her wedding ring as collateral.

Elissa let McCrae and Andy in on her deal with Elissa.  Andy confessed he was worried because if he didn’t vote for Amanda to leave, his scheme would be found out, hurting his chances at winning the game.  McCrae told Amanda not to trust Elissa, because she could double-cross you.

After Andy met with Amanda, he made a bee line straight to The Exterminators to share this information with them.  While Andy was squealing to his real alliance, Amanda and McCrae spoke about how their plan had to work, and how Andy wouldn’t flip on them.  Amanda felt Andy was the only person they could trust in the House.

Before the Live Vote and Eviction, Julie Chen told the House Guests about this episode being the 500t episode of Big Brother, as well as the second Double Eviction Night they were about to go through.  The House Guests were both excited and worried about what was going to happen throughout the evening.  When it came time for the Nominees to speak, Spencer gave a shout out to his family and friends at home.  Amanda told the House Guests that they were like family to her, and that could benefit from her staying in the House.  The Vote was an interesting one, Readers.  This week was the first time there was a tie for Eviction.  GinaMarie, as HoH, had to make the final decision as to who stayed.  After putting on her baseball cap, she “politely” told Amanda to “get the steppin’.”  For those of you who don’t know what this means, GinaMarie wanted Amanda out of the House.  Yes, Amanda is out of the House!  Oh, happy day!  Before Amanda left the House, she turned to Andy and told him she thought she could trust him.  Andy said that she still could and went through the door.

Again, I don’t usually talk about Julie Chen’s exit interviews, but Amanda’s was a bit entertaining.  Basically, Julie Chen asked Amanda whether she thought she as a bully to some of the House Guests.  Amanda answered that she didn’t think she was a bully.  Julie pressed Amanda a bit further, giving Elissa as an example, and Amanda responded that it was her game-play, and that she wasn’t like this in her life away from the game.  Julie Chen also asked Amanda about the exchange between herself and Andy.  She said it was for the benefit of those in the House, and that it was fake.  She was trying to save Andy from any suspicion of being loyal to her.  When viewing the Goodbye Messages, Andy told Amanda that he had voted for her to be evicted because it was best for his game.  Let’s just say that Amanda was none too please to see this message after being evicted.

The remaining House Guests were ready to play Go Fetch, the HoH Competition for this Double Eviction Night.  The House Guests had to race across part of the BB Backyard to a dog pen to find 2 dog bones hidden under a pile of straw-like material.  They could only take one bone to their doggy bowl at a time.  The first competitor to find both bones then grab a key to open their pen would win the HoH position.  McCrae scrambled to finish first, making him the Ho for the night.

After getting bombarded by some of the House Guests as to who he should nominate, he chose GinaMarie and Elissa as his nominees for Eviction.

At the Veto Competition, The BB 500, all 6 House Guests had to push their car through a race course maze in order to win the Power of Veto.  It was had to guess who would win this Comp, but, surprisingly, Judd was victorious, winning this ever so important PoV.

At the Veto Meeting, after hearing GinaMarie and Elissa’s reasons as to why he should use the PoV on them, Judd decided not to use the Veto.

At the second Live Vote and Eviction, it was pretty apparent who was going home based on the looks on certain people’s faces.  By a unanimous 3-0 vote, Elissa was the next House to be exterminated by The Exterminators.  It was sad to see Elissa leave the House.  I had grown fond of her, and I wanted her to make it to at least the Final Three.  The Mom Squad is officially out of the BB House.

Wow, Readers!  The show went by in a blur!  I’m sure we’ll be getting all of the back story to this Eviction Night, as well as the next HoH Comp in the next episode of BB 15.  This episode was fantastic, but also not surprising.  I went from being o top of the world to being a bit sad.  At least my last pick, Andy is still working his butt off to stay in the game.  Maybe he’ll be the next HoH, as it will guarantee that person a one-way ticket into the Final Four.  Who will win the HoH this week?  Will McCrae’s decision to get rid of Elissa bite him in the butt now that he’s alone in the House?  Will The Exterminators make it through without any casualties?  Come back to my blog to see how everything plays out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #30 – Romeo vs Juliette

Hiya Readers!

This episode of BB 15 had a different kind of feel to it.  It started off with the same energy the other episodes this season had, but them it became sad.  Why did the liveliness leave the show for me?  Well, it was because the show focused on Amanda and McCrae’s relationship, and how it could potentially be over at the end of this week.  How romantic!  Pitting Romeo verses Juliet.  Personally, I’m no longer an Amanda fan, and I wasn’t saddened by how the last showmance still together this season may be splitting up, but some of the House Guests were.  Read on to see how it came to this.

Amanda was in shock, and was in investigative mode to try and figure out how her and McCrae’s game had just taken a 180° turn for the worst.  She and McCrae were trying to figure out why GinaMarie would target the two of them, but couldn’t pin down the culprits.

Amanda decided to interrogate GinaMarie about who her accomplices were so she could make sense of what was happening in the House. GinaMarie said this was her decision, and she was getting revenge for how Amanda used Aaryn to run her agenda. Amanda tried to argue that her target should have been Elissa for everything Elissa did to Aaryn while she was in the House, and for her eviction. GinaMarie told Amanda she was playing her own game, and she wasn’t going down like Aaryn did. Amanda said that GinaMarie was ruining her game by doing this, and she should go after other people in the House.

Amanda went back to McCrae, head spinning, to figure things out. She admitted that everone in the House lied so well. Hey, Amanda! You’re not the only one playing this game, remember? Other people are allowed to lie about things in the House, too. This game is not about you and McCrae. She came to the conclusion that Spencer and Judd must be in on this coup in order for GinaMarie to go ahead with this plan, and that she would have their votes, too.

From this point in, most of the show became sappy. Amamda and McCrae were reminiscing about their time in the House, and how sad they were that their time together could be coming to a close.

Andy, still working both sides of the House, took a defeated Amanda into the Storage Room to give her a pep talk to pump her up for the Veto Competition. He told her not to let Elissa’s cattiness get to her, and to fight to win the Comp. Unbeknownst to Andy and Amanda, Elissa was listening at the door to their whole conversation. This set off the alarm bells in Elissa’s head about who Andy really was loyal to in the House if he was acting this way towards Amanda. Amanda and Andy found out that Elissa had heard this conversation, and Amanda had then declared war on Elissa for, once again, doing something that she does constantly in the House.

At the Veto Player Selection Meeting, GinaMarie (HoH), McCrae (Nominee) and Amanda (Nominee) chose Elissa (GinaMaire), Spencer (Amanda’s House Guest’s Choice) and Andy (McCrae) out of a box of names to participate in this week’s Veto Competition.  GinaMarie was also happy to announce that Spencer and Judd’s punishment was officially over, so they could get out of those silly chicken suits.

After the Meeting, Amanda spoke with Andy and Spencer about using the PoV.  She asked them not to feel pressured to use it on either her or McCrae to save them from Eviction.  Spencer later confessed that he had no intention of using the PoV on any of them, because he wanted to keep his butt off the block at all costs.

Elissa was sharing her suspicions about Andy with Judd in the BB Bathroom.  She said she didn’t trust Andy, and shared with him what she heard earlier between them in the BB Storage Room, and that Andy had also voted Helen out of the House.  Judd wet to Andy, accusing him of working both sides of the House.  Andy brushed off these accusations, saying Elissa was crazy.

Bowlerama was the name of this week’s PoV Competition.  Played tourney style, each player, wearing lovely leggings and a tutu, had to knock down 4 bowling pins on an upward slanted lane after spinning themselves around 15 times to unlock the gate guarding their lanes. They only had 15 seconds to throw as many bowling balls as possible up their lane.  The player who knocked down their pins the fastest won the golden Power of Veto.  Amanda played her heart out, defeating every player she came across until she came up against her showmance, McCrae.  After a hard fought battle, McCrae came out the winner, bringing Amanda to her knees in defeat, and to tears.  Some of the House Guests commented on how sad it was to watch them battle for their BB lives against each other this way.  Well, it’s either them or you, House Guests!

As Amanda and McCrae were consoling each other in the BB Bathroom, The Exterminators were in the HoH Room trying to figure out who to put up as a replacement for McCrae.  The guys were unanimous in putting Elissa up, but GinaMarie felt differently about this choice.  She said that since Elissa had the choice to put her up last week against Aaryn, but chose Spencer instead, that she would return the favour.  Spencer, feeling secure he was safe this week, volunteered to go up, again!

At the Veto Meeting, as expected, McCrae took himself off the block, forcing GinaMarie to then put Spencer up as a replacement.  After the Meeting, McCrae confessed he should have used the PoV on Amanda, then tried to work his magic to save himself because he felt she was a much better player than he was in the game.  Spencer also spoke about this being his 7th time on the block, which is a Big Brother record for any player ever to have played the game!  He’s hoping to also set the record for also coming off the block still in the game 7 times as well.

So, Readers, unless there is some form of unforeseeable deal made, it looks like Amanda will be the next House Guest exterminated.  That’s another eviction I can’t wait for!  She wreaked enough damage in the House that she deserves this kind of divine justice.  But, as I’ve learned so many times by watching this show, never count your chickens until they’ve hatched.  You never know what will happen in this House.  Will Amanda actually be the one leaving the BB House, or will Spencer finally feel the sting of being the Pawn this week?  Oh, the next episode is going to be another Double Eviction Night, so two people will be leaving the House to become part of the Jury this week!  I can’t wait to see who it will be.  Check out my blog to find out all of the juicy details!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #29: Surprise!

Hi There, Readers!

With Aaryn gone, there was more of a chance for everyone else to win the HoH spot this week.  After the winner was crowned, it was a game of cover up to hide the names of this week’s nominees.  Let’s just say when one of the nominees figured out they were going up on the block, they were so shocked that their jaw dropped wide open.  Oh, the BB 15 producers had a very nice surprise for the House Guests, but only one of them got to enjoy it.  Who were the big winners and losers during this episode of BB 15?  Read below and you’ll see!

Big Hoppertunity was in full swing at the beginning of this episode.  While the competition played out, the House Guests shared their feelings about their safety in the House this week.  Amanda was worried about not winning the HoH because if they didn’t win it, one or both of them would most likely go up on the block.  Elissa was worried because, since she was the out-going HoH, she wasn’t able to play this competition, so she was a sitting duck should anyone want to target her for Eviction.  Andy felt this was one of the most important HoHs for him to win because he wanted to make sure The Exterminators got rid of Amanda this week.  GinaMarie was sad her BFF, Aaryn was gone, but she must try to win this HoH to get rid of Amanda because of she and McCrae didn’t try to save Aaryn instead of voting her out.  After a lot of hopping and egg breakage, GinaMarie hopped her way into the HoH crown this week.  There was also a punishment for the two players who had the lowest egg count in their baskets at the end of the competition.  These two lucky people had to wear a chicken costume for 48 hours.  Spencer and Judd were these lucky people.

Since Amanda never knew where GinaMarie’s loyalty lie in this game, she decided to aggressively push GinaMarie to follow her agenda, as others had in the past, and get Elissa up on  the block.  Amanda’s angle was that Elissa was solely to blame for Aaryn’s eviction.  Amanda went to GinaMarie with her thoughts, but GinaMarie confessed that she wasn’t the stupid person Amanda thought she was, and she wasn’t going to be doing Amanda’s dirty work like Aaryn did.  GinaMarie was going to play her own game.

While most of The Exterminators were celebrating GinaMarie’s victory, Spencer was laying down the ground work so this week’s nominees wouldn’t think they would be considered.  I’m talking about Amanda and McCrae.  Yippee! Finally, someone was stepping up and getting both of the m on the block at the same time.  He was telling them that he was worried that GinaMarie would probably put him up because she didn’t trust him.  Amanda, not leaving anything to chance, said she was going to be all over GinaMarie to make sure both she and McCrae weren’t on the block this week.

It was time for Spencer and Judd to pay the piper.  They were called into the Diary Room, and then came back out to show everyone their new duds for the next two days: their chicken suits!  Both guys took their punishment in stride, both laughing and dancing around the BB Living Room.  GinaMarie loved their wuits so much, that she called Spencer “Deep Fried Chicken, and Judd got the name “Chicken Nugget”

Amanda was true to her word.  She was all over GinaMarie about who she should nominate for Eviction.  She asked if GinaMarie had any ideas for Eviction.  GinaMarie lied, telling her she didn’t, and that it could be anyone in the House.  Amanda, in her most non-threatening tone, said that she was just asking GinaMarie not to put up her or McCrae, and to put up Elissa.  Amanda said it wouldn’t matter how the other nominee was, because the whole House wanted Elissa out.

Elissa was sharing her feelings about her dislike for Amanda with Spencer and Andy, when, magically, Amanda came out of nowhere to ear all of Elissa’s comments about her.  Amanda decided to sit down with them and paint her nails while she started another argument with Elissa.  It got to the point where Andy couldn’t take anymore of their drama, and left the room.  Elissa followed Andy, sick and tired of Amanda berating her.  Spencer spoke to Amanda and McCrae.  Spencer warned Amanda she has to stop attacking Elissa.  Amanda said she couldn’t stop because Elissa was pushing her buttons too much.  When Spencer left, McCrae gave her the same advice.  He also advised her to take the high road from now on where Elissa was concerned, and to let the House see Elissa as the instigator of the arguments.  McCrae also wanted Amanda to try to make nice with Elissa, so the House can see she was trying to turn over a new leaf, making the target on their backs smaller.  Elissa was getting this same advice from Andy in the BB Backyard.

Amanda, halfheartedly, went to Elissa to apologize for her behaviour over the past few days.  Wait a minute!  Didn’t they tell Julie Chen they had apologized to each other already before the Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony?  I see that was either a lie, or both ladies just couldn’t leave well enough alone.  Elissa, seeing through Amanda’s apology, just shook her head and walked away.  Amanda was furious!  She was so furious, she went around the House, telling everyone that she tried apologizing to Elissa, but Elissa walked away from her, trying to drum up some sympathy from the rest of the House.

Amanda continued her “I’m Really Good” campaign by trying to sway Judd and Spencer while they were soaking up some sun “roasting” in the BB Backyard.  Amanda turned on the waterworks, crying about being the “bad guy” in the situation, and how sad it was making her.  She was just wasting her crocodile tears on them, as Judd said he didn’t believe a word of what Amanda was saying.  GinaMarie joined the group, and she wasn’t buy what Amanda was trying to sell, either.

I guess the House was asked to go into the HoH Room while the BB producers literally filled the House with balloons of all sizes!  It’s Luxury Prize time!  The House Guests were advised by a card left on a table that one of them would be able to win $10 000 if they found a chip with a “1,” a chip wit a “0,” and a chip with a “K” on it hidden within the balloons all over the House.  The first person to find these three chips and ring the bell on another table won the cash prize.  After a furious hunt for the three chips, Spencer was the first to find all three chips and ring the bell, winning $10 000.  He said he was the “cluckiest” man in the world.

GinaMarie was trying to avoid talking to Amanda as much as she could.  It got to the point where GinaMarie pretended to be busy talking to Judd so she could not speak to her.  About two minutes later, Amanda interrupted GinaMaire again, determined to talk to GinaMarie.  Once Judd left, Amanda started her pitch to get rid of Elissa, again, and to also put Judd up with her.  Amanda’s reasoning for these picks was that they would guarantee that GinaMarie would have less targets on her back if she took Amanda’s advice.  Amanda also added that she had  been influential in choosing the nominees as of late, so she should know what she was talking about.  As McCrae joined their conversation, Amanda tried to sweeten the pot by lightly mentioning a Final Three deal with McCrae and herself.  GinaMarie just nodded her head as if this sounded like a great idea.  Amanda, satisfied with their talk, left McCrae to finish talking to GinaMarie, and left the room. The rest of the House helped Amanda feel as though she was safe by telling her she was safe, and it was them who had something to worry about.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Amanda’s blanket of security was rudely ripped off of her and McCrae when their keys were the only two that didn’t come out of the Nomination Box.  Boy, was Amanda shocked!  Her jaw was on the floor, and she was speechless (for once)!  McCrae just looked lost ad confused.  GinaMarie told MCrae he was nominated because she wanted to see the light come back on in his eyes like they were during the first HoH Comp.  GinaMarie told Amanda she was on the block because she was crazy, but she loved Amanda.  While Elissa and the remainder of safe House Guests were elated to see Amanda’s expression when she found out she and McCrae were on the block, Amanda was still in shock.  She didn’t understand, after all of the browbeating she did to GinaMarie, that she and McCrae were both on the block.  McCrae was crying in the Diary Room, realizing their time together in the BB House was going to end shortly with one of them leaving this week.  GinaMarie said Amanda could cry all she wants, and that Amanda’s bullying tactics weren’t going to work on her.

Oh, Readers!  It was good to see Amanda get put in her place.  I don’t think she’s going to take any of this lying down, though.  I can see Amanda trying to go full force to get everyone to keep her over McCrae because she did all of the heavy lifting in their alliance.  Oh, her one Veto victory will erase all of the strong-arming, the taunting and the threats she dished out to the House over the past few weeks and make all the House Guests want her to stay over McCrae.  If my thoughts are indeed true, Amanda had better wake up, because she will be on her way out the BB front doors if she doesn’t win the Veto this week.  Who will win the PoV this week?  Will any of them sacrifice themselves in the name of love to save the other?  Will Amanda cool her jets and continue her nice act to smooth things over with the other House Guests?  You can find all of the answers to these questions by coming back to my blog!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #28: Julie Chen Saw Through the Smokescreen

Hi Readers!

It’s another Eviction Night episode on BB 15.  This eviction will permanently break the 3 AM alliance apart.  Either way, a very strategic player will be leaving the House.  As well, a new alliance was formed to rid the House of Amanda and McCrae.  The best part of this episode was Julie Chen.  She saw through a smokescreen of fake comments, and she made sure it didn’t slide through the cracks of one of her interviews during the show.  How did everything play out?  Read below and you’ll see!

Amanda was still on her mission to taunt and humiliate Elissa at any chance she could around the House.  The House Guests were getting pretty sick and tired of Amanda’s antics.  Spencer finally broke the House’s silence about Amanda’s behaviour.  He asked Amanda to stop bothering Elissa, telling her she was acting like a bully.  Amanda answered back by saying she was not bullying Elissa, and that Elissa deserved everything she was dishing at her.  Andy confessed Amanda’s constant outbreaks were not helping his game since the House knew he was aligned with her.

In the BB Backyard Spencer, Andy, GinaMarie, and Judd were discussing the Amanda and McCrae situation.  With Spencer leading their pow-wow, they decided that this showmance had to leave the House, or else the two of them would be in the Final Two.  They also agreed to create an alliance to rid the House of this showmance.  Since they were getting rid of he last showmance in the House, they named their alliance The Exterminators.

Aaryn, worried about her chances of staying in the House after this week, went to talk to Amanda to see where her loyalty lies within their alliance.  I guess Aaryn figured Amanda would have sided with hr since it was Aaryn did all of Amanda’s dirty work for her she may have assumed Amanda would throw her a bone and try to keep her around longer…no such luck.  Amanda let Aaryn know that she and McCrae were giving their votes for Andy to stay.  Amanda confessed in the Diary Room that she and McCrae were going to support Andy over Aaryn because Amanda was able to trust Andy more than she could Aaryn.  Aaryn started crying because because she felt as though now no one had her back in the House.

Aaryn began her to campaign for votes with some of the other House Guests. She was trying to persuade Spencer and Judd to vote for her, but they didn’t give it to her.  Since they couldn’t reveal they were apart of The Exterminators, they told her she would think about saving her.

Aaryn decided to go back to Amanda and McCrae to try and change their mind about their votes.  Aaryn thought by throwing Andy under the bus that it would change their minds.  Aaryn told Amanda and McCrae Andy was in cahoots with Spencer and Judd to get rid of them (Aaryn was only guessing this.  She was unaware that Andy actually was part of The Exterminators). Amanda, wanting to get to the bottom of any plan against her, called Spencer over and asked him if what Aaryn said was true.  Spencer went on the defensive, and became angry at Aaryn for throwing his name into something he wasn’t a part of.  After arguing with Aaryn, Spencer went away in a huff, making Aaryn’s story more believable to Amanda.  Amanda and McCrae began to throw around with the idea of keeping Aaryn instead of Andy.

At the Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony, when given the chance to try and save themselves, Aaryn said she missed her family and friends, and that she enjoyed her time in the BB House. Andy said he hoped he wasn’t going to be evicted, and that he loved Anderson Cooper. It was another unanimous Vote…Aaryn was finally evicted from the BB House!!! We did a happy dance as we watched her go through the front door.

As many of you have noticed, I don’t talk about Julie Chen’s exit interviews with the House Guests. Due to how awesome this episode’s interview with Aaryn was, I really had to share it with you!  After Julie Chen sat Aaryn down to talk Julie Chen proceeded to ask her about the unfavourable comments she made about some of her fellow House Guests. Aaryn’s response was that she was from the South, and that everyone where she was from talks and jokes around like that, and that she didn’t mean to disrespect anyone or hurt their feelings.  Quite a different line than the one she gave earlier in the season to Team Aaryn while she was in power.  Julie Chen saw through Aaryn’s lines of BS, and read aloud certain racial and homophobic comments she said about Helen, Candice and Andy.  Aaryn tried to explain she wasn’t trying to be mean about what she said, making her seem worse to anyone watching.  At my place, we were all yelling at the TV at Aaryn’s attempts to make Julie Chen and the viewers at home understand what she meant by her comments. We were also so happy that Julie Chen didn’t let Aaryn’s explanation slide by so easily. We were so proud of her. We cheered Julie Chen on throughout the whole segment. Way to go, Julie Chen!

After all of the excitement, Julie Chen announced it was time for the HoH Competition. This week’s game.was.called Big Hoppertunity.. Each of the House Guests had to pick up an egg from behind a fence to chicken wire, wind it through an HoH path on the fence, then hop it over to their colour-coded egg cartons.  The player who filled their carton with unbroken eggs first would be the new HoH.  Julie Chen also announced a twist in the game.  She told the House Guests that the three players who had the least amount of eggs in their cartons by the end of the competition would be punished by having to wear a chicken costume for 48 hours.  Unfortunately, Readers, the Comp had barely begun by the time the show ended.  It will continue into the next BB episode.

Ah, sweet relief, Readers!  Aaryn is finally out of the House!  She should have left many weeks ago.  After everything she has done this season to other people, I don’t believe she deserved to win the $500 000 prize.  Now Amanda needs to leave the House. She’s way to unstable to stay in the House.  Hopefully, The Exterminators will stick to their plan and get her out.  Who will win this week’s HoH Competition?  Are Amanda and McCrae be safe this week, or does Elissa have a lot more than Amanda’s wrath to worry about? Come back to my blog to see how everything plays out!

Until my next post, Readers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #27: This is What Happens When a Plan REALLY Goes Wrong!

Oh, Readers!

It was as though the air was sucked out of my lungs by the end of this episode!  It was a car crash, followed by a train wreak, then a Z-celebrity meltdown for most of the show!  Everything was set up so well, too, but then, no plan is absolutely guaranteed to go off without a hitch.  What am I talking about, you ask?  Read on, Readers, and you’ll see!

Aaryn, Amanda and McCrae shared their feelings about this week’s nominations.  Aaryn was worried she may be leaving because she really doesn’t have that many people to have her back where the PoV and the voting were concerned.  Amanda was worried about not getting the PoV to save her fiancé from being on the block.  McCrae was Worried because he thought it was a long shot that he’d win the PoV to take himself off the block.

GinaMarie was thinking ahead to the PoV and who the replacement nominee would be.  Thinking it might be her, she confessed she should play nice-nice with Elissa this week.  She started off her wave of niceness towards Elissa when Elissa asked her if she was mean to Aaryn during her Eviction nomination speech.  Saying anything to please this week’s HoH, GinaMarie praised Elissa over her speech against her supposed BFF in the House.

GinaMarie’s actions didn’t go unnoticed.  Hawk-eyed Amanda witnessed the exchange, and the gears started turning in her head about a possible alliance between these ladies.  She didn’t like how GinaMarie was acting two-faced, sucking up to Elissa the way she was when last week GinaMarie was ready to pack Elissa’s bags for her.  I’m not sure why Amanda was so upset by this, when she hates people one week, then claims to be the one to have saved them from Eviction when she wants to control them.

Amanda, still upset about not being in control of everything, went to Elissa to figure out if she was Elissa real target this week.  In the HoH Room, she asked Elissa if she and GinaMarie were working together.  Elissa laughed, telling Amanda that they were not working together.  Amanda, not believing a word of what Elissa was telling her, kept pressing Elissa for information about what was going o between her and GinaMarie.  Elissa wasn’t having it, telling Amanda nothing was happening.  Amanda thought Elissa was a terrible liar and that Elissa was keeping something from her.

Once Amanda finally left Elissa alone, Elissa did confess that it would be awesome to see Amanda walk out the BB front door this week.  She went to her new ally, Judd, who was totally on board with this new plan.  He wasn’t a fa of Amanda’s anymore, either.  Elissa then had to get Aaryn on board to make Aaryn she did everything she could to make sure Amanda would go home instead of Aaryn and McCrae.  Aaryn, surprised by the change in Elissa not wanting er out of the House this week, agreed to the new plan to put Amanda up on the block if Amanda doesn’t win the PoV, or if she does not participate in the Veto Competition.

At the Veto Player Selection Meeting, Elissa (HoH) had this week’s Nominees (Aaryn and McCrae) join her in picking the other competitors for the PoV Competition.  Amanda, GinaMarie and Judd (Aaryn’s House Guest’s Choice pick) were chosen.

Amanda became suspicious as to why Aaryn chose Judd as her House Guest’s Choice pick.  After the meeting, Amanda demanded to know why Aaryn chose Judd over Andy.  Aaryn lied, telling Amanda she felt that Judd had a better shot at winning the PoV and using it on her than Andy did.  Amanda, in her selfish nature, got upset with Aaryn, telling her she was angry with Aaryn for thinking about her own safety in the game instead of their alliance’s safety (namely Amanda’s safety).  Aaryn confessed she was upset that Amanda because Aaryn wanted to look out for her own safety.  GinaMarie further backed Aaryn on looking out for herself in the game, reminding Aaryn that Amanda is a manipulator and that Amanda is indeed selfish, and she did the right thing.

This was where the car crash occurred during the show.  Elissa and GinaMarie made the mistake to keep their game talk private when they decided to talk about getting Amanda out of the House in the BB Kitchen, you know, Readers, where everyone can see them.  Well, the one person they didn’t want to overhear their conversation walked by the kitchen: Amanda.  Amanda took notice of their silence every time she purposely walked by the Kitchen.  Amanda, fed up with this pattern, decided to call them out, blowing up at them for talking strategy against her.  Okay, I would be upset, too if I knew people were talking about me the way they were, but to blow up like Amanda did was stupid of her for her game.  She went after GinaMarie  in order to put doubt in Elissa’s mind about wanting to work with her by arguing that GinaMarie was only talking to Elissa this week because Elissa was HoH.  Duh!  This is how the game is played, Amanda!  Elissa was aware of GinaMarie’s motives, but they’re working to get rid of you!  GinaMarie went toe-to-toe with Amanda’s arguing until Amanda walked away yelling, then stopped when McCrae advised Amanda to shut her mouth before she did more damage to bot of their games.

Once Amanda cooled her jets a bit, McCrae then told her to go to Elissa to try and smooth things over so the both of them didn’t end up on the block this week.  Amanda continued her tirade of GinaMarie, telling Elissa she was fake, that Helen leaving last week was not completely her decision, and that she was acting this way because she was scared of going up on the block as the replacement nominee.  Lying through her teeth, Elissa tried telling Amanda she hadn’t thought that far ahead to know who she would put up.  Amanda, in her pushy way, asked Elissa if she was being honest with her.  Amanda, would any one say, no, I’m lying?  Really!  Elissa just shook her head and laughed to herself, privately confessing that she was enjoying seeing Amanda shaking in her boots over the idea of being back-doored.  Amanda finished her inquisition by telling Elissa she always had her back in the game.  Now that is something to laugh at, Readers!

The House Guests had a visitor this week in the BB House.  It was Zingbot 3000!  Yes, Readers, my least favourite seasonal visitor has returned to roast the House Guests after waking them up.

After the well thought out insults were slung by Zingbot  3000, the show went to the Power of Veto Competition where the players had to recharge one year-old Baby Zingbot’s batteries by rolling a ball over a covered ramp 250 times without it dropping on the ground.  This person would be crowned with the golden Power of Veto.  If the ball did drop on the ground, the player’s count would fall back to zero, and they would have to start over again.  This was the train wreck part of the episode I mentioned at the beginning of my post.  After many players wasted their energy by trying to speed through this challenge, Amanda took her time rolling the ball over the ramp while taking breaks to finally become victorious in a BB competition.  This was one of the comps to win so she and her man would be safe for the rest of the week.  Elissa smiled weakly as she was watching her plan go wrong while Amanda and McCrae openly celebrated Elissa’s defeat.

Elissa was crying in the HoH Room with her buddy, Judd, at her side.  Judd asked her what she was going to do now that Amanda and McCrae were safe, and who she was going to put up as a replacement nominee was concerned.  A tearful Elissa said she didn’t know what she was going to do, but she knew that what ever decision she did make, that it had to make a significant impact on 3 AM.

Elissa, now having to do some damage control of her own with Amanda, went to talk to her, mentioning how much fun the Veto comp was.  Amanda, saw through Elissa’s ruse, and laughed in her face, telling her she was going to go down for trying to back-door her.

There were others in the House who were worried about their safety this week that were given even cause to bite their nails to the quick after Amanda’s surprise victory.  Andy was becoming a nervous wreck because he was warned by Helen last week that if he didn’t vote to keep her safe last week, that there would surely be targets placed on his back to avenge her.  Andy went to Amanda with his fears.  Amanda then came up with the plan to try and get GinaMarie up on the block.

Okay, Readers, you’ve gotten the car crash, then you read about the the train wreck, now you’re about to get the Z-celebrity meltdown!  It started with Amanda, still making victory laps around the House.  She was wearing her robe and slippers, while sporting her party hat and blowing on her noise-maker to everyone in the House.  Most of the House Guests made their way to the BB Backyard to get away from Amanda’s craziness.  Poor Elissa was left hostage in her HoH Room to await the end of Hurricane Amanda.  Amanda then started yelling for Elissa to come out and face Amanda since Amanda ruined Elissa’s plan to get rid of her.  Since she got no response, Amanda took it upon herself to go up to the HoH Room door and start banging and yelling on the door, calling her out and making fun at her.  Amanda was telling her to stop at hiding, but she still got no response.  This wound Amanda up even more, making her blow her noise-maker and bang on the HoH Room Door even more, getting even more belligerent with her comments and her actions, and told Elissa she was going to torture Elissa until she came out.  Readers, I was so upset watching it, yet I couldn’t take my eyes away!  I was more yelling at Amanda to stop n like a horrible winner, and to get over herself.  Okay, you won a competition.  Yes, you should be proud of winning your first competition of the season, but to then go berserk the way you did was disgusting.  Yeah, Elissa ay have been pushing your buttons, Amanda, but for you to go after her in the manner you did was wrong.  If it were me, I wouldn’t have been as lady-like as Elissa was in this situation.

At the Veto Meeting, as expected, Amanda took McCrae off the block.  With one of her nominations now changed, Elissa replaced McCrae with Andy, tearing apart  the 3 AM alliance.  After the meeting, Andy confessed he was done with the 3 Am alliance as it has gotten him this far in the game and he no longer needed it.  Amanda said that the 3 AM alliance would now become 2 AM.  Aaryn also expressed how she was done with the 3 AM alliance, saying she was ready to play her own game now, and she’s sure Amanda’s only looking out for her best interests, not those of the alliance as a whole.

Yeah, Readers, it was a crazy episode!  One of the most energized episodes I’ve seen in a while for a Big Brother season.  With these new wrinkles in 3 AM, the game is not necessarily wrapped up for one player anymore.  Who will be evicted this week?  Can Amanda do damage control without making even more enemies in the House?  Who will be next week’s HoH?  Find out the answers to these questions the next time you swing by my blog!

Until next time, Readers!

Reese.
