Big Brother 15, Episode #36: The Winner of Big Brother 15 Is…

Hello, Readers!

I decided to be a bit more formal with you because of this episode’s occasion: it’s Finale Night!  Yes, I’m so excited about tonight because one of my picks to win BB 15 had made it to the Final Three!  Yes, sneaky, yet calculating good guy, Andy has wormed his way to this position in the game along with GinaMarie and Spencer.  Which one of these three will win the pivotal HoH, then get the Jury to vote for them to win $500 000?  Read on and you’ll see!

When we left these three in my last post, the Final Three were competing in Part 1 of a three-part HoH Competition called The Greatest Skate.  House Guests  were being swung around the BB roller rink trying to avoid obstacles on the ground to trip them up.  Spencer was finding it hard to hold to his bar as the producers decided to speed up the cords the bars were attached to.  Spencer just couldn’t hang on any longer, and fell.

Andy and GinaMarie were still hanging tough in the game until they were being sprayed with jets of fog, water and foam.  This made Andy and GinaMarie slip and slide all over the rink until Andy’s footing gave out on him, making him let go of his bar and fall.  GinaMarie won the first of three competitions for the HoH, and a by from competing in Part 2.  She was showered with a golden glitter which she ended up choking on in her excitement. Andy confessed he began to wonder whether his fall could have cost him the game.

Part 2 of the HoH Comp called Crab Grab had the fellas rigged up for some wall climbing as they had to find the faces of the House Guests that had been evicted on crab pieces, then climb up a wall ad put them in the correct order of when they left.  Andy and Spencer got to compete individually, and both had a hard time at this challenge.  In the end, good ol’ Andy won Part 2 of the Comp!  At this point, Spencer felt he had to get GinaMarie and Andy to realize just how easy it would be for them to win the game if they took him to the Final 2 with them in order to win $50 000 and at least second place.

GinaMarie and Andy had a private conversation about what they were going to do should either of them won this HoH.  Andy said he would take GinaMarie since Spencer would beat both of them due to the fact that he has less blood on his hands than the two of them.  GinaMarie confessed in the Diary Room that she would probably go with Andy as well.  She was worried about making this move because she felt she would lose to Andy because he was such a good kid, and he deserves to win the game.  Yet, at the same time, GinaMarie could screw him over because she needed the money as well…

Julie Chen then announced to the viewers that Dr. Will Kirby ( a BB icon) had visited the Jury House to speak to the Jurors about the Final Three, and to get them to think about who they were going to vote for to win the game.  He asked the Jury what made each person worthy of the grand prize.  This got Amanda practically yelling at most of the other Jury members, and even some questionable looks shot at McCrae for his opinions that didn’t agree with those she shared.

The show then went to the Final part of the HoH Competition.  For this final part of this HoH showdown, Julie Chen asked them to finish off a statement given by each of the Jury members.  Julie Chen gave them two possible options as to how each person had responded, and the players had to choose which statement was the correct one.  For every correct answer they gave, they got a point, and if one player had more points than the other, the scales they were put on would lower in their favour.  After answering 8 questions about their Jury members, Andy answered more statements correctly than GinaMarie, making him the last, and the most important HoH of the season.  Yay! My pick has made it into the Final 2!

The show then moved quickly to the last Live Vote and Eviction of the season.   Andy apologized to Spencer, telling him he knew he told him he would take him to the Final 2, but he made a promise to GinaMarie from Day 1 that he would take her to the end of the game.  Spencer was the  last evicted House Guest from the House this season, as well as the final member of the Jury deciding who would win the game.

When Julie Chen interviewed Spencer after his eviction, he told Julie he kind of saw his eviction coming, and he was proud of Andy for staying loyal to GinaMarie for all this time.  He was also proud of the fact that he broke the “Pawn Always Goes Home” curse that lingered around the BB game.

It was now time for the Jury to interrogate the Final 2 to decide which of them would win BB 15.  First, Julie Chen introduced Spencer to the Jury as its last member, and got them up t speed as to what happened in the House.  The Julie Chen let the Jury lose on Andy and GinaMarie.  As usual, the questions, ” What was your biggest move in the game,” “What was your biggest obstacle to overcome,” and “Why should we give you the money” were asked, as well as “Why should we give you our vote when you had offended us and called us cockroaches?” by Candice of GinaMarie.  GinaMarie answered that she was upset by Nick’s leaving, that it was not an personal attack against anyone, and that she loved everyone in the House.  Wow, after cussing Candice and supporting her Eviction, GinaMarie sure does know how to do a 180º turn when $500 000 is on the line!

Then Julie Chen gave the Final 2 their last chance to sway the Jury to choose them to win the season.  GinaMarie continued her love fest, flattering the Jury, telling them how great of an opportunity this prize would be for her, and that she was sorry for offending anyone.  Andy said he played the game with his heart, but that he played the game more with his head.  He went on to say that he played both sides of the House in order to get further in the game.  Then the Jurors each put their key in a box with the name of the House Guest they wanted to win BB 15.

To add more suspense to the evening, Julie Chen then brought out the first 5 evicted House Guests so the Jury and the Final 2 could get a better perspective of what they were able to watch from home.  They spoke about all of the controversial events that happened, and how they were affected both inside and outside the House.

Finally, the moment many of you have been waiting for: the winner of BB 15!  The winner had to have at least 5 votes to win.  This was who the Jurors voted for:

Spencer – Andy; McCrae – Andy; Judd – GinaMarie; Elissa – Andy; Amanda – Andy, Aaryn – GinaMarie; Helen – Andy; Candice – Andy; and Jessie – Andy.

If you add it all up, it was a 7-2 vote for my pick ANDY!!!! YES! My pick finally won a season of a show!  My bad luck curse has finally broken!  I don’t think GinaMarie minded too much, just winning $50 000 for second place, and running straight to a somewhat weary, yet nice Nick.  She didn’t let go of him for the rest of the broadcast!  Nick took it all in stride.

Lastly, Readers, Julie Chen announced the winner of the $25 000 America’s Choice prize.  American viewers were asked to vote on who they thought played the game the best, and they would be awarded this prize.  The top 3 vote-getters were Judd, Elissa ad Howard.  Readers, it was no surprise who won…it was Elissa!  If she was chosen by America to be the MVP 3 weeks in a row, of course they were going to choose her to win this prize, too!

After all of this, Julie Chen thanked the viewers for watching this season, and the theme music closed out the show.  It was kind of sad.  I know they have the show on so often to make up for reruns during the summer, but this was my thing to watch!  Oh well, I have 2 seasons of Survivor to watch until next summer to fill this void!  Thanks, Readers, for popping in to catch up on what was happening in the BB 15 House this season.  I really appreciate your support.  If you didn’t know, I am also posting Survivor 27: Blood vs Water right now, so if you wanted to keep up with Survivor, come back to my blog and check out those posts until Big Brother 16 starts up next summer.

Big Brother 15, Episode #28: Julie Chen Saw Through the Smokescreen

Hi Readers!

It’s another Eviction Night episode on BB 15.  This eviction will permanently break the 3 AM alliance apart.  Either way, a very strategic player will be leaving the House.  As well, a new alliance was formed to rid the House of Amanda and McCrae.  The best part of this episode was Julie Chen.  She saw through a smokescreen of fake comments, and she made sure it didn’t slide through the cracks of one of her interviews during the show.  How did everything play out?  Read below and you’ll see!

Amanda was still on her mission to taunt and humiliate Elissa at any chance she could around the House.  The House Guests were getting pretty sick and tired of Amanda’s antics.  Spencer finally broke the House’s silence about Amanda’s behaviour.  He asked Amanda to stop bothering Elissa, telling her she was acting like a bully.  Amanda answered back by saying she was not bullying Elissa, and that Elissa deserved everything she was dishing at her.  Andy confessed Amanda’s constant outbreaks were not helping his game since the House knew he was aligned with her.

In the BB Backyard Spencer, Andy, GinaMarie, and Judd were discussing the Amanda and McCrae situation.  With Spencer leading their pow-wow, they decided that this showmance had to leave the House, or else the two of them would be in the Final Two.  They also agreed to create an alliance to rid the House of this showmance.  Since they were getting rid of he last showmance in the House, they named their alliance The Exterminators.

Aaryn, worried about her chances of staying in the House after this week, went to talk to Amanda to see where her loyalty lies within their alliance.  I guess Aaryn figured Amanda would have sided with hr since it was Aaryn did all of Amanda’s dirty work for her she may have assumed Amanda would throw her a bone and try to keep her around longer…no such luck.  Amanda let Aaryn know that she and McCrae were giving their votes for Andy to stay.  Amanda confessed in the Diary Room that she and McCrae were going to support Andy over Aaryn because Amanda was able to trust Andy more than she could Aaryn.  Aaryn started crying because because she felt as though now no one had her back in the House.

Aaryn began her to campaign for votes with some of the other House Guests. She was trying to persuade Spencer and Judd to vote for her, but they didn’t give it to her.  Since they couldn’t reveal they were apart of The Exterminators, they told her she would think about saving her.

Aaryn decided to go back to Amanda and McCrae to try and change their mind about their votes.  Aaryn thought by throwing Andy under the bus that it would change their minds.  Aaryn told Amanda and McCrae Andy was in cahoots with Spencer and Judd to get rid of them (Aaryn was only guessing this.  She was unaware that Andy actually was part of The Exterminators). Amanda, wanting to get to the bottom of any plan against her, called Spencer over and asked him if what Aaryn said was true.  Spencer went on the defensive, and became angry at Aaryn for throwing his name into something he wasn’t a part of.  After arguing with Aaryn, Spencer went away in a huff, making Aaryn’s story more believable to Amanda.  Amanda and McCrae began to throw around with the idea of keeping Aaryn instead of Andy.

At the Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony, when given the chance to try and save themselves, Aaryn said she missed her family and friends, and that she enjoyed her time in the BB House. Andy said he hoped he wasn’t going to be evicted, and that he loved Anderson Cooper. It was another unanimous Vote…Aaryn was finally evicted from the BB House!!! We did a happy dance as we watched her go through the front door.

As many of you have noticed, I don’t talk about Julie Chen’s exit interviews with the House Guests. Due to how awesome this episode’s interview with Aaryn was, I really had to share it with you!  After Julie Chen sat Aaryn down to talk Julie Chen proceeded to ask her about the unfavourable comments she made about some of her fellow House Guests. Aaryn’s response was that she was from the South, and that everyone where she was from talks and jokes around like that, and that she didn’t mean to disrespect anyone or hurt their feelings.  Quite a different line than the one she gave earlier in the season to Team Aaryn while she was in power.  Julie Chen saw through Aaryn’s lines of BS, and read aloud certain racial and homophobic comments she said about Helen, Candice and Andy.  Aaryn tried to explain she wasn’t trying to be mean about what she said, making her seem worse to anyone watching.  At my place, we were all yelling at the TV at Aaryn’s attempts to make Julie Chen and the viewers at home understand what she meant by her comments. We were also so happy that Julie Chen didn’t let Aaryn’s explanation slide by so easily. We were so proud of her. We cheered Julie Chen on throughout the whole segment. Way to go, Julie Chen!

After all of the excitement, Julie Chen announced it was time for the HoH Competition. This week’s game.was.called Big Hoppertunity.. Each of the House Guests had to pick up an egg from behind a fence to chicken wire, wind it through an HoH path on the fence, then hop it over to their colour-coded egg cartons.  The player who filled their carton with unbroken eggs first would be the new HoH.  Julie Chen also announced a twist in the game.  She told the House Guests that the three players who had the least amount of eggs in their cartons by the end of the competition would be punished by having to wear a chicken costume for 48 hours.  Unfortunately, Readers, the Comp had barely begun by the time the show ended.  It will continue into the next BB episode.

Ah, sweet relief, Readers!  Aaryn is finally out of the House!  She should have left many weeks ago.  After everything she has done this season to other people, I don’t believe she deserved to win the $500 000 prize.  Now Amanda needs to leave the House. She’s way to unstable to stay in the House.  Hopefully, The Exterminators will stick to their plan and get her out.  Who will win this week’s HoH Competition?  Are Amanda and McCrae be safe this week, or does Elissa have a lot more than Amanda’s wrath to worry about? Big Brother 15, Episode #27: This is What Happens When a Plan REALLY Goes Wrong!

Oh, Readers!

It was as though the air was sucked out of my lungs by the end of this episode!  It was a car crash, followed by a train wreak, then a Z-celebrity meltdown for most of the show!  Everything was set up so well, too, but then, no plan is absolutely guaranteed to go off without a hitch.  What am I talking about, you ask?  Read on, Readers, and you’ll see!

Aaryn, Amanda and McCrae shared their feelings about this week’s nominations.  Aaryn was worried she may be leaving because she really doesn’t have that many people to have her back where the PoV and the voting were concerned.  Amanda was worried about not getting the PoV to save her fiancé from being on the block.  McCrae was Worried because he thought it was a long shot that he’d win the PoV to take himself off the block.

GinaMarie was thinking ahead to the PoV and who the replacement nominee would be.  Thinking it might be her, she confessed she should play nice-nice with Elissa this week.  She started off her wave of niceness towards Elissa when Elissa asked her if she was mean to Aaryn during her Eviction nomination speech.  Saying anything to please this week’s HoH, GinaMarie praised Elissa over her speech against her supposed BFF in the House.

GinaMarie’s actions didn’t go unnoticed.  Hawk-eyed Amanda witnessed the exchange, and the gears started turning in her head about a possible alliance between these ladies.  She didn’t like how GinaMarie was acting two-faced, sucking up to Elissa the way she was when last week GinaMarie was ready to pack Elissa’s bags for her.  I’m not sure why Amanda was so upset by this, when she hates people one week, then claims to be the one to have saved them from Eviction when she wants to control them.

Amanda, still upset about not being in control of everything, went to Elissa to figure out if she was Elissa real target this week.  In the HoH Room, she asked Elissa if she and GinaMarie were working together.  Elissa laughed, telling Amanda that they were not working together.  Amanda, not believing a word of what Elissa was telling her, kept pressing Elissa for information about what was going o between her and GinaMarie.  Elissa wasn’t having it, telling Amanda nothing was happening.  Amanda thought Elissa was a terrible liar and that Elissa was keeping something from her.

Once Amanda finally left Elissa alone, Elissa did confess that it would be awesome to see Amanda walk out the BB front door this week.  She went to her new ally, Judd, who was totally on board with this new plan.  He wasn’t a fa of Amanda’s anymore, either.  Elissa then had to get Aaryn on board to make Aaryn she did everything she could to make sure Amanda would go home instead of Aaryn and McCrae.  Aaryn, surprised by the change in Elissa not wanting er out of the House this week, agreed to the new plan to put Amanda up on the block if Amanda doesn’t win the PoV, or if she does not participate in the Veto Competition.

At the Veto Player Selection Meeting, Elissa (HoH) had this week’s Nominees (Aaryn and McCrae) join her in picking the other competitors for the PoV Competition.  Amanda, GinaMarie and Judd (Aaryn’s House Guest’s Choice pick) were chosen.

Amanda became suspicious as to why Aaryn chose Judd as her House Guest’s Choice pick.  After the meeting, Amanda demanded to know why Aaryn chose Judd over Andy.  Aaryn lied, telling Amanda she felt that Judd had a better shot at winning the PoV and using it on her than Andy did.  Amanda, in her selfish nature, got upset with Aaryn, telling her she was angry with Aaryn for thinking about her own safety in the game instead of their alliance’s safety (namely Amanda’s safety).  Aaryn confessed she was upset that Amanda because Aaryn wanted to look out for her own safety.  GinaMarie further backed Aaryn on looking out for herself in the game, reminding Aaryn that Amanda is a manipulator and that Amanda is indeed selfish, and she did the right thing.

This was where the car crash occurred during the show.  Elissa and GinaMarie made the mistake to keep their game talk private when they decided to talk about getting Amanda out of the House in the BB Kitchen, you know, Readers, where everyone can see them.  Well, the one person they didn’t want to overhear their conversation walked by the kitchen: Amanda.  Amanda took notice of their silence every time she purposely walked by the Kitchen.  Amanda, fed up with this pattern, decided to call them out, blowing up at them for talking strategy against her.  Okay, I would be upset, too if I knew people were talking about me the way they were, but to blow up like Amanda did was stupid of her for her game.  She went after GinaMarie  in order to put doubt in Elissa’s mind about wanting to work with her by arguing that GinaMarie was only talking to Elissa this week because Elissa was HoH.  Duh!  This is how the game is played, Amanda!  Elissa was aware of GinaMarie’s motives, but they’re working to get rid of you!  GinaMarie went toe-to-toe with Amanda’s arguing until Amanda walked away yelling, then stopped when McCrae advised Amanda to shut her mouth before she did more damage to bot of their games.

Once Amanda cooled her jets a bit, McCrae then told her to go to Elissa to try and smooth things over so the both of them didn’t end up on the block this week.  Amanda continued her tirade of GinaMarie, telling Elissa she was fake, that Helen leaving last week was not completely her decision, and that she was acting this way because she was scared of going up on the block as the replacement nominee.  Lying through her teeth, Elissa tried telling Amanda she hadn’t thought that far ahead to know who she would put up.  Amanda, in her pushy way, asked Elissa if she was being honest with her.  Amanda, would any one say, no, I’m lying?  Really!  Elissa just shook her head and laughed to herself, privately confessing that she was enjoying seeing Amanda shaking in her boots over the idea of being back-doored.  Amanda finished her inquisition by telling Elissa she always had her back in the game.  Now that is something to laugh at, Readers!

The House Guests had a visitor this week in the BB House.  It was Zingbot 3000!  Yes, Readers, my least favourite seasonal visitor has returned to roast the House Guests after waking them up.

After the well thought out insults were slung by Zingbot  3000, the show went to the Power of Veto Competition where the players had to recharge one year-old Baby Zingbot’s batteries by rolling a ball over a covered ramp 250 times without it dropping on the ground.  This person would be crowned with the golden Power of Veto.  If the ball did drop on the ground, the player’s count would fall back to zero, and they would have to start over again.  This was the train wreck part of the episode I mentioned at the beginning of my post.  After many players wasted their energy by trying to speed through this challenge, Amanda took her time rolling the ball over the ramp while taking breaks to finally become victorious in a BB competition.  This was one of the comps to win so she and her man would be safe for the rest of the week.  Elissa smiled weakly as she was watching her plan go wrong while Amanda and McCrae openly celebrated Elissa’s defeat.

Elissa was crying in the HoH Room with her buddy, Judd, at her side.  Judd asked her what she was going to do now that Amanda and McCrae were safe, and who she was going to put up as a replacement nominee was concerned.  A tearful Elissa said she didn’t know what she was going to do, but she knew that what ever decision she did make, that it had to make a significant impact on 3 AM.

Elissa, now having to do some damage control of her own with Amanda, went to talk to her, mentioning how much fun the Veto comp was.  Amanda, saw through Elissa’s ruse, and laughed in her face, telling her she was going to go down for trying to back-door her.

There were others in the House who were worried about their safety this week that were given even cause to bite their nails to the quick after Amanda’s surprise victory.  Andy was becoming a nervous wreck because he was warned by Helen last week that if he didn’t vote to keep her safe last week, that there would surely be targets placed on his back to avenge her.  Andy went to Amanda with his fears.  Amanda then came up with the plan to try and get GinaMarie up on the block.

Okay, Readers, you’ve gotten the car crash, then you read about the the train wreck, now you’re about to get the Z-celebrity meltdown!  It started with Amanda, still making victory laps around the House.  She was wearing her robe and slippers, while sporting her party hat and blowing on her noise-maker to everyone in the House.  Most of the House Guests made their way to the BB Backyard to get away from Amanda’s craziness.  Poor Elissa was left hostage in her HoH Room to await the end of Hurricane Amanda.  Amanda then started yelling for Elissa to come out and face Amanda since Amanda ruined Elissa’s plan to get rid of her.  Since she got no response, Amanda took it upon herself to go up to the HoH Room door and start banging and yelling on the door, calling her out and making fun at her.  Amanda was telling her to stop at hiding, but she still got no response.  This wound Amanda up even more, making her blow her noise-maker and bang on the HoH Room Door even more, getting even more belligerent with her comments and her actions, and told Elissa she was going to torture Elissa until she came out.  Readers, I was so upset watching it, yet I couldn’t take my eyes away!  I was more yelling at Amanda to stop n like a horrible winner, and to get over herself.  Okay, you won a competition.  Yes, you should be proud of winning your first competition of the season, but to then go berserk the way you did was disgusting.  Yeah, Elissa ay have been pushing your buttons, Amanda, but for you to go after her in the manner you did was wrong.  If it were me, I wouldn’t have been as lady-like as Elissa was in this situation.

At the Veto Meeting, as expected, Amanda took McCrae off the block.  With one of her nominations now changed, Elissa replaced McCrae with Andy, tearing apart  the 3 AM alliance.  After the meeting, Andy confessed he was done with the 3 Am alliance as it has gotten him this far in the game and he no longer needed it.  Amanda said that the 3 AM alliance would now become 2 AM.  Aaryn also expressed how she was done with the 3 AM alliance, saying she was ready to play her own game now, and she’s sure Amanda’s only looking out for her best interests, not those of the alliance as a whole.

Yeah, Readers, it was a crazy episode!  One of the most energized episodes I’ve seen in a while for a Big Brother season.  With these new wrinkles in 3 AM, the game is not necessarily wrapped up for one player anymore.  Who will be evicted this week?  Can Amanda do damage control without making even more enemies in the House?  Who will be next week’s HoH?  Find out the answers to these questions the next time you swing by my blog!

Big Brother 15, Episode #26: Oh, How the Tables Have Turned, Again!

Hey Readers!

With the Jury Members and the remaining House Guests all competing for the HoH, the future of the BB House is really up in the air!  Will Helen have a comeback, crushing 3 AM, or will another Jury Member be able to come back into the House to try and finish what they started at the beginning of the summer?  Read on and you’ll find out!

The Off the Wall Competition continued in this episode, with McCrae and Spencer being the first two casualties of the game.  Andy and Jessie quickly followed them.  Helen was trying to hang on in order to beat Amanda, but she, too, fell off the wall, followed by Candice, wishing Judd, the returning Jury Member, good luck in the BB House.

As the mini platforms began to move quicker beneath the feet of the remaining competitors’ feet, Judd fell off, losing his chance at being HoH this week.  Everyone else (Elissa, Amanda and GinaMarie) were hanging on for dear life.  After tapping into her Reilly Power Ring for extra power, Elissa pulled off some really spectacular saves to catch 10 baseballs first, making her this week’s HoH!  Oh, Readers, it was amazing!  My oldest and I were at the edge of our seats!  We were also watching some major boot shaking from many of the other House Guests.

Elissa confessed that she wanted Amanda and McCrae on the block to make up for splitting up the Mom Squad the week before.  She was also curious as to why Judd didn’t want to give her hug wen he left the House a few weeks ago.  Judd told her about how he wasn’t happy with how he had left the House at Helen’s bidding.  Judd went on to say that this unpleasantness was water under the bridge, and that he wanted to return to the game with a new slate.

Amanda, curious as to where Elissa’s head was at, went to her and asked if she and McCrae were safe this week.  Since Amanda is Elissa’s main target this week, Elissa said that the two of them being on the block together was a possibility.  ELissa also said Aaryn was a probable pick.  Amanda tried to change Elissa’s mind by throwing GinaMarie in the line of fire, if she was going after Aaryn.  Amanda left the room, even more worried and upset over not getting her way.

After relaying the information to McCrae, Amanda got McCrae to go to Elissa, since he was able to persuade many other HoHs to do 3 AM’s bidding.  McCrae also started throwing GinaMarie’s name around as a possible candidate for Eviction.  Elissa simply told McCrae that this was her HoH week, so she would be deciding who was going up on block.  McCrae tried every way possible to get Elissa off of the Idea of Amanda and himself being on the block, but Elissa stonewalled McCrae at every turn.  Amanda, after hearing about McCrae’s negative progress with Elissa, went back to Elissa, in fear of not being able to control this week’s nominations, crying and pleading to not to have the two of them on the block together, but no dice, Readers!  Elissa wouldn’t budge for them!

Aaryn, also worried about Nominations this week, was so preoccupied in her thoughts about being on the block that she took a swig of nail polish remover instead of her water from her water bottle!  Spencer and Andy witnessed what happened, and they knew why she did such a crazy thing.

Elissa was sharing her thoughts with Judd on how she would like for this week.  She wanted to see either Amanda or Aaryn go to the Jury House this week.  Judd pledged his full support for Elissa’s plans, and wanted to befriend Elissa.  She reciprocated Judd’s sentiments, so much so that they agreed to create an alliance between themselves.  I wonder what they will name their alliance?

Aaryn went to Elissa to try and sway Elissa not to put her up on the block.  Aaryn was trying to make Elissa fall for her line of BS by proposing fake promises, and fake deals.  Just as Aaryn had done to her the week before, Elissa listened with deaf ears.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Elissa’s choices for Eviction were revealed: Aaryn and McCrae.  Elissa said she nominated McCrae because he was a strong player, and she hoped he would win the Veto to get himself off the block.  Elissa nominated Aaryn to show her how Elissa felt when Aaryn targeted her last week, and because Aaryn as been making Elissa’s life in the BB House miserable since Week #1.  Elissa, please tell us how you really feel.

Oh, Readers, I smell a back-door situation being set-up by Elissa here to get rid of Amanda!  The only way this won’t work is if McCrae or any other competitor wins the PoV and doesn’t use it at all.  This way, the nominations stay the same, and Amanda is safe for the week.  Amanda wouldn’t care if Aaryn is directly in the line of fire.  She was just using Aaryn to lock her HoH noms last week.  3 AM was doomed to fail from its inception.  Will Elissa’s plan work?  Will McCrae save himself or sacrifice himself for Amanda?  How will the PoV change the game this week?  Oh, before I forget, in my next post, the House Guests will be getting a visit from another seasonal visitor!  Come back to my blog to check up on this season of BB 15 to see who it is!

Big Brother 15, Episode #23 – 25: The Writing’s on the Wall

Hello Readers!

I have to apologize for my lack of BB 15 posts, Readers.  The past few weeks have been filled with so many events that I’ve become behind on my BB 15 posts.   To save on time, I will condense this past week of BB 15 for you into one post.  This week of BB15 was so hard to watch.  There was only one real focus: Helen.  I kept smacking my hand against my forehead, asking Helen via my TV why can’t you see what’s happening? What happened to make me almost bruise my forehead in frustration?  Read on and you’ll see.

Episode #23

After winning her fourth HoH competition, Aaryn confessed she felt honoured to have accomplished this feat, but she was also worried she would be made to do someone else’s dirty work, getting blood on her hands.

Amanda was still complaining about not being able to win any competition she played in so far this season, even when McCrae threw the last challenge to make Amanda happy. McCrae made the mistake of telling Amanda he wasn’t going to throw any more competitions for Amanda to win because he wanted to try and hold onto the power in this game as much as possible. This information angered Amanda for two reasons: Amanda wanted McCrae to be able to show trust in the others un their alliance (Aaryn and Andy); and she wanted McCrae to help her win something so she didn’t look like a looser. Amanda then stormed out of the Have-Not Room to have her baby hissy-fit in the Storage Room.

Amanda and McCrae  spoke with Aaryn in her HoH Room about nominations.  Aaryn wanted to nominate Elissa and Spencer, but the happy couple wanted someone else to take Spencer’s place on the block: Helen.  They wanted Helen to think Elissa was the target, to not to win the Veto, and not see what was going to happen until it was too late.  Aaryn, on board with this plan gave everyone in their alliance, 3 AM a codename.  Amanda was the Mastermind for obvious reasons.  Andy was the Agent because he brought information back to the group no one else would.  Aaryn was the Beast because she was good at winning competitions.  McCrae was called the Enforcer because he was able to convince people to do what he wanted.

Helen was sad because Elissa didn’t think she wanted to be in the game anymore if she ended up being evicted this week.  Elissa told her she wouldn’t be part of the Jury, and would go home instead.  Helen made the big mistake of telling this to the 3 AM alliance while sobbing.  They were all trying to convince Helen anymore in order to turn Helen against her.  3 AM were all secretly laughing at Helen, as Helen was the actual target, and Helen should have been worried about herself, and not Elissa.

After a lot of harping from Helen, as she was under the impression that Elissa was this week’s target, Elissa went to Aaryn to see if she could change her mind about putting her on the block.  After a bunch of babbling on about her yoga mat issues, Aaryn was more convinced than ever to put Elissa in harm’s way.

Have/Have-Not Competition: The Black Box

Team Orange (Spencer, McCrae, Andy and Aaryn) and Team Green (Amanda, GinaMarie, Helen and Elissa) had to go as a team into a pitch black room created in the BB Backyard and find a key amongst some crazy vasts of objects and a slimy floor.  They then had to race outside and unlock the buzzer to stop the timer that was keeping how long it took them to complete the task.  The team that did this in the longest amount of time were Have-Nots for the week.  Team Orange blazed through the competition, making Team Green the Have-Nots for the week.

Nomination Ceremony

At the Nomination Ceremony, it was no surprise who Aaryn put up for Eviction this week.  Yep, Helen and Elissa were on the block against each other.  3 AM wanted the Mom Squad to forget about their alliance and to start fighting against each other.

Episode #24

Helen, still wearing her rose-tinted glasses, thought her Final Three deal with Andy and McCrae was still intact.  What about the Mom Squad?  Where was Elissa in your plans, Helen?  Even though Helen wasn’t thinking of Elissa in her future plans, she wanted to help Elissa get through this week by advising her about keeping her behaviour, especially where Aaryn is concerned, in check.

Elissa interrupted Amanda and McCrae’s make-out session to ask about the nominations.  Since Amanda’s fun time was cut short, she felt like messing with the Mom Squad by pitting Elissa against Helen.  Luckily, Elissa didn’t fall for Amanda’s fake words of advice.

Veto Player Selection Meeting

These were the players competing in this week’s Veto competition:

Aaryn (HoH), Helen (Nominee), Elissa (Nominee), Spencer, GinaMarie and Andy ( their names were drawn out of a hat; Andy was Elissa’s choice).

Power of Veto Competition – OTEV

This season’s OTEV was a heart-broken beaver who had written love letters to certain evicted House Guests, but had lost them.  In each round, OTEV would give clues as to which letter he wanted the players to find in a forestry-bog-like setting in the BB Backyard.  The last player back to OTEV, either because they could not find a letter, empty-handed because the letters were found, or they found the wrong letter, was eliminated.  The winner would then receive the Veto.  Elissa must have put on her Reilly Ring of Power for this competition, because she was diving under water, and tackling people out of her way in order to win the PoV this week.  It was like seeing Rachel in the game, only the nicer version.  Readers, it was pretty awesome!

Elissa went to Amanda about putting their beef aside to work together and get Spencer out of the House.  Amanda told her this wasn’t going to happen, because Elissa was never the target, but that it was actually Helen.  Elissa went back to Helen, trying to relay this information to her without it actually coming out of her mouth.  Helen somehow deciphered Elissa’s message, took off her blinders to what was happening in the House against her,  and started to rally the troops (Spencer, Andy and GinaMarie) to take Amanda down.

Veto Ceremony

It was no shock to the House that Elissa used the PoV to take herself off the block.  It also was no shock, to me, that Aaryn put Spencer on the block, then blaming the power ruling the House for pushing her into a corner to do so, or else she’d be going home next week.  Boo-hoo, Aaryn!

Episode #25

Helen was putting the pressure to the House Guests to start fighting against Amanda.  She was trying to paint Amanda as a bully (not much paint job was needed, Helen), so that the House would want to keep Helen in the House to defend them from this “bad” person.  She was absolutely sure that her Final Three alliance was fake when she was rejected by Andy and McCrae to change their vote this week to Amanda.

Amanda heard how Helen was portraying her, and she asked McCrae, Andy and Spencer if this was how the House really saw her.  McCrae didn’t answer her (smart man), but Spencer, bless his honest heart, told her that she was kind of a bully.  Amanda tried to brush off Spencer’s assessment of her by saying Helen was mad because Amanda had beaten her at her own game.

Helen had finally saw that the writing was on the wall when she got the truth out of Andy.  He said he was going to vote for Helen to leave the House this week because it would be better for his game if Helen left now.  Helen warned Andy that if he voted for Helen to leave, there would be more targets placed onto his back.  Andy confessed that if this was true, that he may start to rethink what was really best for his game.

Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony

When given the chance to say their last words, Spencer thanked his family, again, and said he wanted to stay and keep playing.  Helen said hi to her family and friends at home and thanked then for their support.  She also said that this game was her dream, and she would love to continue playing.  The Vote was, once again, predictable, as Helen was the one to leave the BB House.  (The Vote was 4-1 for Helen).

Jury/House Guest HoH Competition – Off the Wall

After Julie Chen spoke with Helen about her impressions of the House, Julie Chen announced to Helen and the other House Guests that the HoH Competition would be played by the Jury (Candice, Judd, Jessie and Helen), as well as the remaining House Guests, to see which Jury Member would return to the House, and which individual, Jury Member or remaining House Guest, would become HoH.  In this game, the players would be standing on a moving platform against a wall while trying to catch 10 baseballs and getting sprayed at by jets of water.  The last Jury Member left in the game would win their chance back into the House and continue playing for the $500 000 prize.  The last person standing, Juror or remaining House Guest, would be HoH for the week.   I’m sorry to say Readers, but the show ended with the beginning of this competition.  It will conclude in the next episode.

Whew!  That was a lot of typing and editing from what I like to share in my BB 15 posts.  I’m just happy I got this one out!  I’m glad I’m getting back into the swing of things, and I’m almost caught up.  My pick of the Jurors to return to the House?  Helen.  You know, to get Amanda out and gain some redemption.  Who do I rooting for to win this HoH Comp?  Elissa, of course!  Why?  Because turnaround is fair play in the Big Brother game, no?  Who really will win this HoH Comp?  Which Jury Member really will reenter the House?   How will all of these outcomes influence the games of the remaining House Guests?  Pop back into my blog for the answers!

Big Brother 15, Episode #22 – If I Go, I’m Taking All of You Down With Me!

Hey There, Readers!

This season when from having two dominant players to one.  One of these players is being ensnared in a trap that will probably have her back-doored next week.  Besides this happening, one of the nominees is unaware of the fate that is to befall her until it’s too late.  How will she take the fallout? Keep reading and you’ll see!

To keep even more blood off of his hands, Andy wanted Jessie to be unaware of her actually being the target this week.  Jessie, already beginning to feel a weird vibe about what was happening in the House, went to Andy to gain some reassurance about her place in the House.  Andy, lying through his teeth, told her she was safe.

Jessie was still getting this paranoid feeling when she was around Helen and Elissa because Jessie thought they were ignoring and excluding her while spending a lot of time with Spencer all of a sudden.  She decided to talk to Helen about how she felt.  Helen told her she was cool.  Jessie then went back to Andy, thinking he could give her more insight as to what was going on.  Andy told Jessie she was cool and to not worry about anything.

Andy, trying to ward off a disaster, went to Helen to tell her to put in a better poker face around Jessie as she was getting suspicious about what was really going on this week because Jessie was feeling the cold.shoulder from Helen and Elissa.  Helen thought Jessie was being ridiculous and stupid, but she would try to be more friendly towards her.

Helen was speaking to Aaryn, Amanda and Jessie, and Helen started throwing Jessie under the bus about Jessie trying to get rid of Amanda for the past few weeks.  When Helen and Jessie were alone, Jessie wanted to know why Helen would do this.  Helen, trying to rewrite history to save her butt, said she wanted Jessie to wait to start campaigning against Amanda, and that she was mad Jessie went ahead and tried to go after Amanda before Helen was ready.  Jessie couldn’t believe what she was hearing (and neither could I), telling Helen this was not true, and that she had been loyal to Helen for the past 3 weeks.

Jessie tried to clear her “good” name around the House by going to Amanda and outing Helen, telling her that the Mom Squad have been after her for some time now.  Amanda, not wanting for any more BS to go around the House, called out Jessie and the Mom Squad for trying to back-door her for the past few weeks.  Helen then turned on Jessie, saying Jessie was trying to ruin her game, asking her why she was trying to out the Mom Squad.  Jessie responded that it was true what they were doing.  Helen shot back that Jessie was one the block, and that it would be Jessie walking out the front door of the BB House when the Live Vote and Eviction takes place.

Helen and Jessie continued their difference of opinions outside of the HoH Room, so every one who could hear were privy to their conversation.  Jessie exclaimed Helen threw her under the bus, and Helen denied it, saying Jessie misheard what she said.  Helen also tried to cover up her tracks by saying she didn’t remember saying certain things, or that she had no recolition.  Yes, Readers, Helen said recolition, not recollection.  You know someone is lying through their teeth when they start fumbling words like that!  Amanda even commented on Helen’s back peddling, saying that Helen was coming off as looking shady for not owning her actions in this situation.

Helen was talking with Amanda, Andy and McCrae about Jessie being this week’s target while doing damage control.  What this group didn’t know was Jessie just happened to be outside of the room they were talking in listening at the door.  This sent Jessie into a rage.  In the Diary Room, she declared this was the beginning of Operation: Bring the House Down!  Jessie said if she was leaving the BB House this week, she was going to ruin the games of anyone else she could and bring them down with her.  Hell hath no fury like a Jessie scorned, Readers!

Jessie approached Andy, telling him she heard everything that was said in the room.  Andy wanted to know what she heard before saying anything else.  Smart man!  Jessie asked, “What do you think I heard, Andy?”  Andy, playing dumb, said he didn’t know what she heard.  Jessie, upset with Andy’s responses, went to cause trouble elsewhere in the House.

Jessie found GinaMarie and Spencer, and told them she knew about the plan to get rid of her.  GinaMarie, taking a page out of Andy’s book, said she wasn’t aware of any plan.  Spencer just apologized for the position Jessie was in.  Jessie, stirring the BB pot, told GinaMarie about Aaryn talking smack about her behind her back.  GinaMarie, whether she really was aware of it or not, told Jessie she was aware of what Aaryn was doing.  Jessie then let them in on her plan to blow everyone in the House out of the water and left the HoH Room while Aaryn was entering it.

Aaryn wanted to know what was going on with Jessie.  GinaMarie, brushing Jessie off, told Aaryn that JEssie didn’t say anything bad.  Aaryn, getting upset at GinaMarie’s calmness to Jessie’s actions, told GinaMarie to stop acting like nothing’s wrong, and to stop telling her to stop thinking so negatively.  GinaMaire, getting a bit upset herself, told Aaryn to check herself before she continued yelling at her.  Aaryn shot back by saying GinaMarie was talking crazy.  GinaMarie, had had enough of Aaryn’s babyish behaviour and  started yelling, telling Aaryn to go and tell everyone about their spat, and how bad GinaMarie was.  GinaMarie was carrying on so much, she decided to wake the whole House up to talk about what Aaryn says about GinaMarie behind her back, so Aaryn wouldn’t put her spin on what happened.  Aaryn kept saying GinaMarie was acting crazy, asking her why she was doing this.  Oh, Readers, Jessie’s plan sort of worked.  It did get the House into a bit of a tither, but the people she really was hoping to expose with her plan were not really harmed.

At the Live Vote and Eviction, when given the chance to sway the other House Guests, Jessie said she tried to play the best game she could, and she had a great time.  Spencer gave a shout-out to his brother who was celebrating a birthday.  Once again, there’s no need to show how the Vote went, Readers.  It was another unanimous vote to evict Jessie.  No one surprised by these results.

Way Off-Broadway was this week’s HoH Competition.  The players would hear a song based on either an HoH Competition, a Have/Have-Not Competition or a Veto Competition.  It was done in two-player head-to-head rounds.  The player that hit the correct buzzer first would move on to the next round.  The winner would be the last person standing and the HoH.  If you buzzed in and were wrong, you were eliminated.  If no one buzzed in, then both players would be eliminated.  After many rounds of buzzing in, Aaryn, for the fourth time this season, was crowned HoH.  Hooray.  Yes, Readers, the fanfare I displayed there was purely sarcastic.

What kind of trouble will Helen find herself in this week with her “ally,” Aaryn as HoH?  If a big move is going to happen, this would be the week to do it.  We may be seeing Helen be voted out after all of her shenanigans.  If this big move does happen, Helen may not be gone for long.  Why, you ask?  Well, Julie Chen announced that after this week’s Live Vote and Eviction, one of the evicted Jury members will be chosen by the American viewers to come back into the game!  Ha ha!  It would be great if whoever gets sent back into the game actually go t to stay around a bit longer than a week or two.  Who would I choose to be unleashed back into the House?  Judd.  He’d better actually start playing instead of being so nice all the time.  Find out the answer to this question, as well as who will be put up for Eviction, and how Helen does this week in the House by dropping back in on my blog!

Big Brother 15, Episode #21 – Helen, You’d Better Watch Your Back!

Oh, Readers!

I really wish the House Guests that aren’t n power would finally band together and take over the House like they should of weeks ago when Howard suggested it.  They are rolling over and letting Amanda and Helen run everything.  Sure, girl power is great and everything, but to just let them call all the shots like they are is so sad to watch.  Now it just feels as though it is a waiting game to see who will pick who off first.  By the look of things, it looks as though Amanda will strike first, as a trap seems as though it is being set for Helen to fall for, and she’s unaware of it!  How did Helen get to this point in the game without knowing it?  Read on and you’ll see!

After the Nomination Ceremony, Andy confessed in the Diary Room that Jessie was his (or Amanda’s) target this week because she was trying to go after Amanda for the past few weeks, and that Spencer was the pawn.  Helen thought Andy was playing it too safe with his nominations, and needed to focus on splitting up Amanda and McCrae.  To make Jessie feel more at ease on the block, Andy lied to Jessie, telling her not to worry, as she is only the pawn, and that Spencer was the one leaving.  How many times have we heard that line in the House, yet Spencer hasn’t left yet?   Quite a few times, let me tell you.  Andy felt he has to blind-side Jessie to have her go out the door without too much blood on his hands.

Aaryn and Amanda both agreed that Jessie has to go.  McCrae and Andy joined the ladies discussion, agreeing to the Jessie plan, along with solidifying their Final Four deal.  Aaryn admitted in the Diary Room that this deal was better than the one she had with Helen.  Amanda and McCrae were pretending to fight over who was the mastermind of their alliance, but in private, McCrae admitted it was Amanda.  Amanda named their alliance 3 AM (Amanda, Aaryn, Andy McCrae).

Helen spoke with her “confidant” Andy about his nominations.  She told him his nominations were too safe.  In the Diary  Room, Helen confessed she can no longer trust Andy because something didn’t seem right with Andy anymore, and she was starting to feel paranoid about being back-doored.  Andy confessed in the Diary Room that he would be in trouble if Helen got wind of his true allegiance to Amanda.

The Mom Squad (Helen and Elissa) were trying to piece together what was happening in the House with Andy’s nominations.  Elissa was starting to smell the rat that Andy, one of my picks to win this game, was becoming to Helen.  Helen was also smelling the stench Andy was letting off.  This led Helen to believe she may have to go after Amanda earlier than she expected.

Just as Helen thought, Andy ran to Amanda after his talk with Helen and betrayed Helen, telling Amanda about Helen’s thoughts of going after Amanda.  Andy was wondering whether he did the right thing about outing Helen to Amanda in the Diary Room.  Amanda came up with a plan to get Helen into a fake alliance with Helen, making a Final Five deal, to gain her trust.  Amanda would then dispose of Helen sooner than later.

McCrae, when he was aware of the plan, started to set the trap in motion by pitching the plan to Helen.  He did this so he would try to go after two of his alliance member at one time by putting them on the block.  Lying to Helen, McCrae told Helen he didn’t want to take Amanda to the end because she would beat him in front of The Jury.  He made also made her a Final Three deal since the two of them had a similar style of game-play, as he would want to have Helen at the end with him.  Helen, looking for any way to get of Amanda, fell for the deal, hook, line and sinker.  Helen!  Why would McCrae do this to his fiancée?  Think, think, think!  Wat about the Mom Squad?  I guess the idea of Amanda out of the game was too much to resist for Helen to see things straight.

At the PoV Players’ Meeting, all of the players for this week’s competition were chosen.  They were the HoH (Andy), the Nominees (Jessie and Spencer), and Helen, Amanda and Elissa’s names were picked out of a box given to Andy by the producers in the Diary Room.  Andy chose McCrae as this week’s host of the competition.

Helen and McCrae were talking about their “secret alliance.” Andy was let in on the details of the plan, and he pretended to be surprised about what was happening, and he was on board for this plan to move forward.  Helen!  The alarm bells should have been going off, again with Andy being on board with this plan.  Were you not just talking to Elissa about how Andy may be trying to play you and be loyal to Amanda?  Andy admitted in the Diary Room that he was worried Helen putting the pieces together, blowing his game to bits!  Amanda then came into the room they were talking in, and they changed the subject of their conversation.

This group started talking about how to guarantee Jessie’s eviction from the BB House.  They figured they were due a competition where they had to guess the correct number of items in a container using a smaller sample as a reference. They decided they would have Helen win the PoV and not use it on anyone.  They then went to Spencer with the plan and he told them he was o board with the plan.  In the Diary Room he confessed he was totally against the plan, saying he wanted the PoV to make sure his butt was off the block this week so he could compete for the HoH.

BB B Movie was the name of the PoV Competition this week.  Just as Amanda and crew had expected, the players had to look at certain items from the BB 15 fake movie, Blood, Bolts and Bandages, to see what a certain number of items looked like in order to predict  the number of  a larger group of the same item was.  If a player was the closest with their prediction in each round, without folding, they received a movie ticket.  The player furthest away from the actual number of items would be eliminated.  The player with three tickets, or the most tickets, by the end of the sixth round would win the Veto.  Spencer almost ruined the plan by eliminating Helen from the competition.  Andy saved the day, ultimately beating everyone else out, winning the PoV for himself.  Surprisingly, Jessie was oblivious to the plan throughout the whole competition.  It was really obvious what the other House Guests were doing.  Ignorance is bliss, I guess!

Team Get Rid of Jessie was enraged with Spencer.  They felt they now had to watch both nominated House Guests very carefully to see who they wanted out of the House more.  Jessie was easy to read and was easily manipulated, but was a whole heap of trouble.  Spencer was a harder cookie to crack, yet he couldn’t be trusted.  Oh, decisions, decisions!

Jessie, coming to her senses a bit, realized the position she was in and went to Andy to suggest using the PoV on her.  She pitched an idea about making a big move in the game right now by going after a bigger fish than herself.  She tried to reassure him by saying he would have her support, and that she could drum up the support he needed from other members of the House.  Andy, placating er, said he would think about what she told him.

Helen found it hard to talk to McCrae in private since Amanda pretty much has him in lock-down mode (at her side) most of the time.  McCrae was beginning to get worried their plan was about to go boom when Helen suggested they try to get rid Amanda sooner than the Final Four.  McCrae went to Amanda and told her what happened.  Amanda was now itching to get rid of Helen sooner than later.

3 AM was  comparing notes about who was saying what in the House in the HoH Room.  They got onto the topic of Helen and her interest in having Amanda out of the House.  Amanda wanted to take the first opportunity to get rid of her.  Andy felt conflicted as to whether he should keep the nominations the same, or to continue to do Amanda’s dirty work and put Helen up on the block.

At the Power of Veto Ceremony, when Andy asked the Nominee why he should use the Veto on them, some interesting things were said.  Jessie went the traditional route, saying she would love for Andy to use the PoV on her, but she would respect his wishes.  Spencer, on the other hand, said Andy hasn’t done anything intelligent all week, so why should he start now?  Whoa, Spencer!  I know you’re frustrated with being on the block having no power in the game, but don’t throw in the towel yet!  There’s still a lot more time for anything to happen in this game, so don’t screw it for yourself.  After Spencer’s shocking statement, Andy announced he would not be using the PoV, keeping the nominations the same for the Live Vote and Eviction.

I really wish Helen would take a step back and realize what was going on in the House.  If someone is acting shady in the House, they probably were, and Andy is all kinds of shady where she is concerned.  I just don’t get why she is not able to fully realize this.  Maybe she thinks Andy wouldn’t do her wrong.  If Helen believes that Andy wouldn’t do her wrong, I should take back the kudos I gave her in my last post!  Never ever fully trust anyone in this game!  Will Helen continue to fall for McCrae and Andy’s rouse?  Who will be evicted from the game?  Who will be the next HoH in the House?  Come back to my blog and find out!

Big Brother 15, Episode #20: Now It’s Time to Choose a Side

So Candice and Judd have been made the first two members of this season’s Jury.  Aaryn just finished her second stint as HoH.  The House Guests are still upset over Judd’s departure from the game.  Where is this season’s game going to go from here?  Well, it looks as though the players are going to have to start really choosing who they are going to be placing their trust with for the rest of the season, or be left in the dust, or The Jury, I guess.  For some players in the game, it will be much harder than others to make this decision.  Which of the House Guests have this problem?  Read on and find out!

The show decided to fill in the blanks from the Double Eviction Night of the last episode.  They started off with the Candice-GinaMarie verbal cat-fight.  GinaMarie went too far, saying that even Candice’s mom didn’t like her.  Why is this bad?  Well, if you didn’t read Candice’s bio, she was adopted, so GinaMarie, feeling petty, thought putting in that cheap shot gave her the upper-hand in their argument.  Aaryn didn’t like GinaMarie’s actions with this cat-fight, as she said they were reflecting poorly on her since they were friends.  Uh, did we forget your past actions, Aaryn?  You know, your horrible comments about other House Guests, or you flipping Candice’s bed because you didn’t like her?  Didnt they reflect poorly on GinaMarie?  Was GinaMarie whining about these things?  No, she had your back!  You are right about these actions hurting your game as well as GinaMarie’s, but why is it that you can’t won up to your own actions?  Again, it might be because you haven’t experienced real life yet, or no one has put you in your place about what comes out of your mouth!  When that day comes, hopefully, you will learn from it.

After Candice left the House, GinaMarie was apologizing to the House for the cat-fight.  Aaryn confessed in the Diary Room that she would like to put GinaMarie up for Eviction, but she couldn’t because she GinaMarie was her girl, and it would look bad if she was going to put up her best friend in the House.  After Aaryn nominated  Jessie and Spencer, then won the PoV, Aaryn got advice from Helen, telling her to backdoor Judd.  Along with Amanda Andy, Helen told Aaryn that Judd was a dangerous player, and that he was lying to everyone to keep his social game up.  Helen said they should take this opportunity to get rid of him now, so he won’t stay and win the game.  Helen continued, telling Aaryn that she shouldn’t waste a Double Eviction Night on Jessie when you can go after a big fish like Judd who has a good social game.  Helen does have a point.  These types of nights are for getting the big fish out.  Maybe Aaryn should have gone after Amanda, or Helen, not Judd.  You could go after Judd anytime.  Helen even said she would get the House together (you know, using the clout she said she didn’t have) to gain support for this plan.  I must say, Helen is putting her skills as a Political Consultant to good use in this game!  She’s pulling the strings of those that hold the power in this game.  Hopefully, that won’t bit her in the butt if she makes it to the end of the game.

Judd got wind of what was going on after the PoV Competition, and he was trying to stop this from happening.  He told members of the House and the second Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony to not believe what was being said about him, and to keep him in the game since he’s been so loyal to so many people.  If you read my last post on Episode #19, you would have seen that this speech fell on sad and deaf ears, as Judd was the one to leave the BB House.  This also answered my questions as to why Amanda and McCrae were sad and hugging each other, and why Judd didn’t want hugs from Helen or Elissa when he was leaving the game.  While the rest of the House was mourning Judd’s picture turning gray on the wall, Helen was trying to make the House forget about Judd.  She told Aaryn that it was the right move to make, and she was just like Janelle for making a move like this, and that she was going to win the game for it.  Oh, Helen!  Telling the House anything they wanted to hear to take away any guilt they felt over Judd leaving so they wouldn’t go after her.  Again, a good move since not many of the players left in the game are playing on a strategic level.

The House Guests then played the next HoH Competition where the BB Backyard was transformed in the BB Diner.  It was another tourney-styled competition where the House Guests were paired off and had to compete in head-to-head rounds.  The first player to place their cherry on the top of their sundae won and continued in the tourney until there was only one person standing.  This person would be the HoH.  Here is ta break-down of what happened in this competition:

Round #1

Helen vs Jessie – Jessie won    Andy vs GinaMarie – Andy won

Amanda vs Spencer – Amanda won   Elissa vs McCrae – McCrae won

Final Four

Jessie vs Andy – Andy won     Amanda vs McCrae – McCrae won

Andy vs McCrae – Andy won HoH!

Andy also has to pick four House Guests to be the Have-Nots for the week.  Aaryn, Jessie, GinaMarie and Helen volunteered for this honour.  Wow!  They must all think they’re safe this week if they’re volunteering to be Have-Nots!

Backtracking for a second, Amanda was whining after McCrae beat her during the HoH Competition.  She was truly upset because McCrae didn’t let her win their match-up.  Really, Amanda!  If you are in such control of the game, does it really matter whether you are HoH or not?  She was carrying on about this to McCare after the competition was over, saying she sucks at everything, and that she just wanted to be HoH, but she wasn’t upset at him.  Helen, continuing her campaign of good will (for herself), went to comfort Amanda with Elissa, telling her that the reason they were still in the game was because of Amanda’s game-play.  When Amanda and McCrae were alone again, McCrae made her see that Andy being HoH this week may have put them in the best place possible.  This was because Andy was part of their Final Four alliance, and he would be doing their dirty work, so their hands would be clean, both of them would not be nominated this week, and both of them still had a crack at HoH next week.

Helen and Andy were talking in Andy’s HoH Room (which they didn’t show this week, probably due to time constraints) about who to nominate this week.  They were both on board for Jessie leaving, but they were divided about who the other nominee should be.  Helen wanted Amanda gone because she was the other big fish the House.  Andy was trying to change Helen’s mind about Amanda, saying that she was trustworthy.  Helen wanted to separate Helen and McCrae, and they would lose the opportunity to do so if they didn’t strike now.  Andy felt stuck between the two heavyweights of the game, but he had to ultimately choose a side that would ultimately get him as far as he could to the  $500 000 prize.

Andy’s choice in nominees will make his choice in which side of the House he was truly on for the remainder of the game.  At the Nomination Ceremony, it was crystal clear where Andy’s loyalties lay.  He chose Jessie and Spencer as this week’s nominees.  Andy was on Amanda’s side of the House.

A line in the sand has been truly been drawn in the House between Amanda and Helen.  People will be scrambling on to one side or the other.  Which side am I cheering for?  As much as I want the Mom Squad to come out victorious in BB 15, I’m not sure they have much steam left in the game unless they make a huge move with the next few weeks to thin out some of Amanda’s allies in the House like Amanda as done to Helen.  Helen has to watch her back, and her actions, if she wants to make a bit longer in the game, or else she really will be the next big target.  Will Jessie or Spencer win the PoV to take themselves off the block?  Will Helen try to get Amanda out of the House if the PoV is used?  Will Amanda start gunning for Helen?  Hopefully, all of these questions will be answered in the next BB 15 episode.  Come back to by blog to find out!

Big Brother 15, Episode #19: It’s a 2-for-1 Special!

It’s Double Eviction Night!  It’s a night on BB 15 when 2 people leave the BB House on the same night, as well as a whole week of competitions (except the Have-Not competition) are played.  These nights are so much fun to watch because the House Guests become even more, and if there’s no room for error, either.  You can really see where a player’s allegiance lies, too, as there is no real time to plan a strategy, or to try and recover from saying or doing something stupid.  It’s do or die time, and, well, someone’s gotta go!  Who were the two unlucky characters to get the boot out of the BB House?  Continue reading below and find out!

After welcoming the audience to the Double Eviction Night, Julie Chen announced that, from this point on, the House Guests that are evicted from the game will become part of The Jury who selects who will ultimately win BB 15!  Yeah, I know, 9 jury members!   Usually there are 7, but since this season started so early, I guess the producers figured they’d add 2 more members!

Now, getting to the show itself…Amanda figured she’d better start playing nice in order to save her butt from Eviction.  She went to Jessie to “reason” with her about their fight a few days ago.  Amanda even said she would support Jessie to the end of the game!  Can you smell the desperation Amanda must have been feeling in order to say that to get Jessie to change her mind?

Amanda then spoke to her secret alliance of McCrae, Judd and Andy about trusting each until the end of the game.  In the Diary Room, she confessed she didn’t truly trust Judd.  To her, he had been acting a bit shady, and this didn’t sit well with her.

Candice, Elissa and Jessie were trying to figure out ways to save Candice from Eviction.  They thought the only way to get this done would be to switch the Vote to Amanda.  Jessie went to talk to Helen to see if she could use her sway to accomplish this task.  Helen said she would need to have all of her allies on board in order to do this.

Jessie then went to her buddy, Judd, and asked if he would vote Amanda out as well.  Judd confessed in the Diary Room that if he went along with this plan, it would completely change the outcome of the game.

Helen went to her confidant, Andy with this plan.  Oh, Helen, if you only knew how close Andy was to Amanda, and that Andy squeals EVERYTHING e hears around the House to her.  Andy confessed in the Diary Room that if he did this, he would lose one of is biggest allies in the game, and that this plan may not be the best one for his game.

Candice was doing everything she could to stay.  She went back to Helen to see if there was anything she could  to change the Vote.  Candice told Helen that the House was crazy to want Amanda to stay because she’ll win if she doesn’t leave soon, and that she knew Helen had enough clout around the House to make things happen.  Helen’s weak defense was that Amanda hasn’t done anything against her.  Candice warned her it was only a matter of time until Amanda did.  Helen confessed in the Diary Room that if Amanda was to leave the House that the next big target would be her.

The show then went back to Julie Chen and the live studio audience.  Julie Chen spoke to the House Guests and told them she had good and bad news for them.  The good news was that the Jury would begin that night with the next evicted House Guest.  The bad news was that it was also a Double Eviction Night, and just because you’re on the Jury doesn’t mean you’re out of the game.

It was then time for the first Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony of the show.  Wen it was time for the nominees’ final words, Candice used her time to cuss GinaMarie out, making Julie Chen have to yell at them to stop.  Spencer thanked his family and the House Guests for the summer.  Amanda greeted her family, and said she was giving the same speech as last week.  There is no need to break down the Vote for this Eviction.  It was an unanimous decision:  Candice was evicted from the BB House, and was the first member of The Jury.

After Julie Chen spoke with Candice, it was time to start off the next week of BB 15 in one night.  Summer School was the name of the HoH Competition.  It would suck to be the HoH on a Double Eviction Night because you only hold this had position for about 40 minutes, yet you are ineligible to compete in the next HoH Competition.  You have no real time to strategize about who to nominate, and you put a large target on your back.  In this competition, the players, except GinaMaire, had to answer questions about items and events within the BB House.  They had to say whether it was more or less than what Julie Chen asked.  After just 4 rounds of play, Aaryn came out as the winner and the HoH!

Aaryn had so many voices in her ear, trying to tell her who she should nominate for Eviction.  When it was time for Aaryn to give her nominees for Eviction, Julie Chen told the House that the MVP twist was now over, so from this point on, there would be only two nominees for Eviction each week.  The House seemed relieved at this news, since they didn’t know for sure who it was for the last two weeks.  Aaryn then told the House that she chose Spencer and Jessie for Eviction.

The show then went to the PoV Competition called Nailed It!  The players (Amanda, Judd, Andy, Aaryn , Spencer and Jessie) had to find  6 different sized nails that fit into certain holes on a Veto board.  Once they found all of them and hit their buzzer, and they were put into the right holes, they would win the PoV.  If the nails were in the wrong holes and they used the buzzer, they would be eliminated from the competition. It didn’t take Aaryn too long to complete this game, winning the PoV, holding all of the power to decide who stays or goes on the block.

Before the PoV Ceremony, Aaryn was pulled aside by Helen, giving her more advise.  Yeah, Helen, you really don’t have any clout around the House.  The cameras also showed Amanda and McCrae holding each other and crying.  Was one of them going to be back-doored? Aaryn put my suspicions to rest by revealing what she was going to do with the Power of Veto.  She vetoed Jessie’s nomination, and replaced her with Judd!  She told him if she didn’t do this, she would be evicted next week.  How gracious of you, Aaryn!  You can never take any responsibility for your own actions in the House, can you?  Judd?  He was a pal of hers, as well as the rest of the House.

It was quickly time for the second Live Vote and Eviction Ceremony of the night.  Spencer thanked the House Guests, again, for the summer, and that he wanted to stay and play.  Judd told the House he loved all of them, and pleaded with them to keep him in the game.  He also said what was being said about him was wrong, and to change their minds about their vote.  It was another unanimous decision.  Judd was sent packing out of the BB House.  It was the first time this season I saw just about the whole House sad about someone leaving the game.  I say just about because Helen and Elissa were the only ones for really upset, and Judd didn’t want them to hug him.  Whoa, that’s huge, since Judd was such a nice guy.  I liked him, he was so real with the House Guests.

Well, Readers, this wraps up Double Eviction Night!  It was a crazy one, though.  I loved the Candice-GinaMarie verbal cat-fight!  I can’t wait for Gina-Marie to leave the House.  The best part about Double Eviction Nights is that , unless it’s apparent who the power players are, you never know for sure who will be the second person evicted.  Tonight was one of these nights.  Judd’s quick dismissal from the House left me with a lot of unanswered questions.  Why would Helen go after Judd?  What will happen to the House now that Judd’s gone?  Will new battle lines be drawn because Judd is gone?  We’ll find all of this out when you return to my blog for the next BB 15 episode wrap-up!

Big Brother 15, Episode # 18 – Boy, Have the Tables Turned!

It was another crazy episode of BB 15!  So much drama, verbal cat fights, and the luck of some House Guests changed in the blink of an eye.  As well, a relationship looked as though it was ready to crumble before our eyes!  Oh, and there was a PoV Competition, too.  What happened to who, and where is this all going, you ask? Read on and it’ll begin to make sense!

After the Nomination Ceremony, Amanda, Judd, McCrae and Andy were in one of the BB Rooms discussing who could potentially be the MVP.  Yes, Amanda was still on this from last week since she was put up by America, yet none of the House Guests have stepped up and claimed responsibility for this choice.  She was pulling a “Jessie” (whining, complaining like a child) about being the third nominee last week, and worrying about the same thing happening this week.  She didn’t understand why America would pick her if this was indeed true.  She asked, “What did I do wrong?”  Oh, Amanda!  When you see what you did wrong, you’ll understand.

Amanda then found her way to the HoH Room only to find Jessie sitting next to her McCrae.  The Green-Eyed Monster came out of Amanda, and she all but demanded McCrae to sit by her, as if he was her possession and he was expected to jump when she wanted him to.  McCrae stood his ground (good for you, McCrae!), and stayed where he was.  Amanda got so mad, she got up and stormed out of the room in a big huff.

At bedtime, Amanda gave McCrae the cold shoulder for his actions.  McCrae asked why she was treating him this way.  Amanda told him she was not going to be competing for his attention.  McCrae said he was not having any of this nonsense.  The next day, Amanda was showering, and McCrae asked if she was still mad at her.  She said she was.  He told her she was wrong for being so mad at him.  While McCrae was in deep thought, Amanda was badgering him about their relationship, and got even more upset when he wasn’t responding to her questions.  McCrae then confessed in the Diary Room that he was beginning to think about exiting this relationship because it reminded him of ones he had had in the past.  He also had to think about what this would do to his game-play.  If they split, he felt Amanda would target him and get him out of the House.

At the MVP Nomination and Veto Players Meeting, America’s pick for the third nominee was revealed.  Yay!!!! It was Amanda, again!  Good work, America!  Maybe this enrage Amanda even more and will throw off her game during the Veto Competition. The last two players this week were Spencer and Judd.  GinaMarie chose Aaryn as this week’s host.

After the Meeting, Amanda had a new idea about who the MVP was in the House.  She was beginning to think it was Judd!  Really!  Well, her reasoning was that she felt Judd was acting weird and shady.  She didn’t even trust him when he went up to her and told her he was going  to pretend to fight for Jessie and really win the Veto for her.

GinaMarie and Aaryn thought that the MVP was stupid for putting Amanda up.  They felt that Amanda was in good hands.  Amanda joined the ladies in the HoH Room.  Amanda asked GinaMarie if she would use the Veto on her if she won. Aaryn got so upset at Amanda’s question that she stormed out of the room.  A lot of people are doing that this season.  Anyway, Aaryn confessed that Amanda was being selfish for asking this of GinaMarie.  Aaryn was afraid of being put up as a replacement nominee if Jessie or Spencer win the PoV.  Why would you think this, Aaryn?  GinaMarie is your girl!  Why would she put you up?

McCrae, doing damage control for Amanda, told GinaMarie in the HoH Room to keep the nominations the same if she won the PoV.  He felt that Amanda wouldn’t be leaving this week.  Amanda joined the conversation, saying she must find out who the MVP was to figure out why she was chosen as the third nominee.  I know, she’s beginning to sound like a broken record.

McCrae told Amanda when they were alone to chill out because she was freaking everyone out and annoying them.  Amanda took offense to McCrae’s “harsh” words, saying he wasn’t helping her.  McCrae told her she was ruffling too many feathers around the House.  With Judd in the room, McCrae told Amanda she also had to think about GinaMarie’s situation in the game right now, and GinaMarie was looking out of Aaryn.  Amanda told McCrae to stop worrying about Aaryn and start thinking about her and her situation.  If McCrae could last through all of this, he and Amanda really can get through anything and have a good life together.  McCrae, you’re a good man to still be with Amanda right now in the game.   Hopefully, McCrae is not using her as a shield so the target on his back isn’t as big as Amanda’s.

Frog Darts was the name of this week’s Veto Competition.  In each round, the contestants had to toss a frog onto a lily pad with the highest number possible.  The player with the lowest score in each round was eliminated.  They then ad to pick a prize.  The most recent eliminated player had the option of trading their prize for one another previously eliminated player held.  The player that held the Veto at the end of the game won the Power of Veto. This is how the competition played out:

1st eliminated: GinaMarie – got the Veto

2nd eliminated: Amanda – got The Cone of Shame.  For this punishment, the recipient has to wear a cone that dogs have to wear to prevent them from biting themselves.  The winner of this item has to wear it 48 hours.  Amanda traded with GinaMarie for the Veto.

At this point in the competition, Candice was telling Judd about how Amanda and Aaryn thought he was shady.  This started a verbal cat fight between the two ladies.

3rd eliminated: Candice – got a trip to the Bahamas.  Candice traded with Amanda for the  Veto.

The verbal war of words continued between Amanda and Candice.  Candice wanted Amanda to stop talking trash about her.  In the Diary Room, McCrae wished Amanda would shut up and stop the blow-ups because the target was growing ever bigger on bot of their backs.

4th eliminated: Spencer – 50 Shades of Orange.  This punishment made its recipient have to enjoy getting a spray tan in the BB Backyard every time a bell sounded for 24 hours.  Spencer traded this punishment with a delighted Amanda for the trip to the Bahamas.

5th eliminated: Jessie – $5 000.  She traded this prize with Candice for the Veto.

Winner of competition: Judd – Won the punishment of the Clownatard,  The recipient had to wear the Clownatard for 48 hours.  Judd traded with Candice for $5 000, and Jessie becomes the permanent winner of the Veto.

Even after the competition was over, Amanda just won’t stop arguing with Candice!  Amanda’s behaviour was beginning to really bother the other House Guests.  Helen said that Amanda was rubbing people the wrong way with all of her out-bursts and her attitude.  Candice was happy everyone was seeing this side of Amanda.  She was hoping the House Guests saw Amanda for who she was, and that this influenced how they voted.

Back in the House, McCrae and Amanda were talking about her need to chill out.  Amanda didn’t understand why everyone was getting so upset with her.  McCrae just advised her to try and keep her mouth shut so she didn’t come off as looking stupid.

Aaryn saw that Candice was looking too calm and comfortable after what happened.  Aaryn was watching as Candice and Elissa were in the BB Kitchen laughing and having fun.  Aaryn didn’t like this and wanted to keep Candice on the path to Eviction.  Candice, on the other hand, wanted to keep this momentum going by being happy and really “owning” the Clownatard instead of making it seem as though the punishment was a real punishment.

While Amanda, Candice and GinaMarie are all having fun with their punishments, Helen was taking this time to go to work and make deals with GinaMarie to ensure Elissa’s safety so Elissa doesn’t become the replacement nominee for Jessie.  Aaryn wants Elissa’s butt up on the block because of the bad blood between them.

At the Veto Meeting, as predicted, Jessie removed herself from the block.  This forces GinaMarie to replace Jessie with another House Guest.  The lucky House Guest was Spencer!

Yes, Readers, it was one hell of an episode to watch!  Jessie thought she was on the outs, while Amanda thought she was sitting pretty.  Yeah, the tables have definitely turned around for these ladies quickly.  Amanda really has to calm down, and learn how to pick er battles now.  Who knows what will happen to her down the line in the BB House.  Who will be the House Guests to be evicted from the BB House?  Who will be the next HoH to rule the roost?  Don’t forget that the next episode will be a Double Eviction Night!  I love these nights on the show.  Find out what happened by popping back in to my blog!
